screm
Like I said on the club forum Berwick fans (not all) must be the biggest moaners ever to grace speedway. Go watch Newport poor souls. You think, try an Ipswich thread.

Also will it be pay at the gate or ticketed? Many thanks! Adults £18 Concessions £12 Kids 11-16yrs £5 Under 11s free Programme £4 The full riding order is on the Berwick site,Tai Woffinden is still in the starting line up. cityrebel
I'm happy to report that, asking the question last night. I was told they'll be less than that. Berwick have absolutely no say in the matter, but BSPA will keep charges to "someting like" (I couldn't get a firm commitment) £18 and a £4 programme. How does that match the ELRC/ Or Scottish Open? the FIM world cup meeting at lakeside last sunday was £17 to get in and £4 for a prog. it took over 4 hours to run in the baking heat, i wish i had stayed at home. it might be a close run thing to get the meeting completed by curfew time at berwick, the way the FIM run these events. You are comparing an unusual afternoon event in exceptionally hot sunshine, which I expect would require lots of track watering, with an evening meeting run at regular time. Track grading after every four heats will be the norm. Berwick have stated they will have two ambulances and two doctors on the night and have long experience of presenting speedway. There might be a bit of pomp and circumstance by the FIM before and after the twenty heats, but running to time won't be a problem. Indeed, I see the after-meeting party is advertised as being from 9pm until 1.30pm. So they aren't planning a long show, just a good one! Robinh88
See you are on bleating again! You should be happy that your team has been chosen for the only Qualifier in GB. There are 4 or 5 all together in Europe so each track is never going to get all top riders but the Polish lad and Sundstrom are a bit special having seen plenty of them. Like I said on the club forum Berwick fans (not all) must be the biggest moaners ever to grace speedway. Go watch Newport poor souls. Simon says (clap your hands) Repeat Replaced by the Panthers and dropped down to Poland's 2nd tier, yeah Krystof Buczkowski is really special. I'll tell you a couple of Top class riders who don't get dropped by there parent clubs or drop divisions mind one hasn't been to Berwick before so you probably wont have heard of him. I do agree with WJM in the respect that there will be some intresting races. Yes I did manage to make it too Queensway Medows last year and had a very enjoyable evening! Thanks for the offer.... HenryW
I did have a chuckle at the claim that Buczkowski was a bit special. I couldn't disagree though, as "catch me if you can" has seen plenty of him, so is probably in a better place to judge than me... However, from the Poles that made it to the SGP qualifiers, I wonder how they would be rated.....Let's have a guess.... Adrian Miedzinski Przemysław Pawlicki Piotr Pawlicki Krzysztof Kasprzak Grzegorz Zengota Janusz Kołodziej Piotr Protasiewicz Patryk Dudek Maciej Janowski Krzysztof Buczkowski Hands up who thinks that Pan Buczkowski was rated lowest and ended at Berwick because he was the weakest link? The other qualifiers do look stronger, but thats has to be good news for the likes of Chris Harris, who needs all the help he can get to maintain him as a GP rider. iris123
Must admit to being glad the Pawlicki brothers are riding in Güstrow and not Buczkowski.....but a bit bemused when i saw the name Rohan Tungate representing Australia.Had hoped for someone i had heard of

Backless
Because, despite commonsense, we have yet to construct a similar border to that between the USA & Mexico? If that's the best you've got left with which to run down the promotion, I hope for your sake you have another barrel on order. There's a big world out there: if you don't like the speedway at Berwick, you might ENJOY finding something you do LIKE. Or maybe it's engrained after years of Waite-run "entertainment"? Yeah, they were the days, eh? Instead of making the efforts they have maybe the promotion should take a leaf out of their visitors: rather than host all those pesky World U21 World Cup riders, they went with a NL double header packed with star names like James Cockle, Jerran Hart & Byron Bekker. Fromafar
The tag line for the event, "Come see the biggest event in the Borders and Scotland" ..Whats the event got to do with Scotland? lol Quite a lot the Scots had to fight wars to try on hold on to Berwick finaly losing in round about 1482 ,its just a pity the press release in not quite up to date.
