keepturningleft
Have purchased the excellent 'Golden Age Of Speedway", recently I would naturally be interested in buying Philip Dalling's new book, 'The Classic Era', but I am perplexed as to what the difference is between the two books as they both appear to cover the same era. Can anyone tell me why I should buy the new book?
MauriceMorrish
That's a good point. However, I have just finished a preliminary read of my copy of the new book (having read The Golden Age some time ago. The first point to make is probably that while the Golden Age covers the first decade after World War Two, the new book is about the period 1928 to 1968. There is virtually no repetition, either in the text or the pictures. Edited October 30, 2011 by Maurice

BOBBATH
Trust me, anything that Philip writes is worth reading.
