Swedish 2021 Season (info on 1st page with signings, rules and etc).

CANNOT be a very satisfactory situation for a rider probably one of the best if not the best to be sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone to get injured or be rested.

Surely it depends on what the club and the rider have agreed on? I am pretty sure that Emil and Vetlanda have discussed this during contract talks and that Emil knows what/how Vetlanda

are planning to use their best riders. I doubt Emil would have signed with Vetlanda if he wasn't satisfied with what Vetlanda offered.

His manager though was not happy last year whining about the situation last year...

There have been some controversies regarding Robert Lambert's average Some think because he have a German license his new Swedish

average should be based on his average from the German Bundesliga rather then on his average in the British Elite league.

The only reason to why Masarna is complaining is because using the EL as a base for the average will be slightly higher then using BL as base.

EL=1.318

BL=1.250

http://www.dt.se/sport/motor/snittproblematik-i-masarna-vi-kan-inte-kora-med-nagra-tilltankta-laguppstallningar

The rules says that a rider who does not have an official Swedish average will get a new average based on the average in his/hers home league,

the question is then how you determine which league is the home league? IIRC Australian and New Zeeland riders are considered to have the Elite League

as their home leagye

Some claim that because of his German license his average should be based on the German league average. In my opinion Robert is a

that having a German license doesn't make BL his home league. He's represented GB in 2014 team U21 world cup, 2nd in 2015 individual British championship,

describes himself as a British motorcycle speedway rider. So without a doubt he IS British and therefore the Elite League should be considered his home

league with hesitation. He was also registered as a British rider least season but as far as I know nobody had any issues with that then.

As far as I know Robert Lambert will no longer get a German license. He is British, and represents the ACU in international Events. Fofr this year he is, like every other foreign rider, regarded as an A-grader in this year's Bundeliga.

He will take up one of the A-grade positions for the foreign riders (non DMSB license holders) in the DMV White Tigers team.

Until a minute ago I lived in the assumption that for example Lambert could still take the German national license and the ride for ACU on a FIM license. This is how all other disciplines work and what the Rasmus Jensen case was about. I SINCERELY hope that the revised interpretation for this rule in track racing is written somewhere else, as I did not find it from FIM 2016 Sporting Code (a minute ago).

Smederna have been invited, as the only club, to Svemo's annual environmental forum at Arlanda airport. This is because are considered are an example of

success regarding the environmental aspects of their arrangements as well as their work/program together with Svemo about "biological diversity".

Smederna's "slogan" is environmental friendly motorsport of world class quality.

Västervik have re-constructed their track by making the bends banked as well as putting a new shale (same kinds as in Kumla) on the track.

They hope that these changes will make the track better so that it will offer much more entertaining speedway.

Svemo have released their nominations for SGP and SEC qualifications:

SGP qualies:

Kings Lynn:
Fredrik Lindgren och Joonas Kylmäkorpi.

Slangerup Danmark:
Linus Sundström och Tomas H Jonasson.

Terenzano, Italien:
Peter Ljung och Kim Nilsson.

Reserv SGP qualies: Pontus Aspgren.

SEC Qs:

Debrecen Ungern 30 april:
Linus Sundström & Peter Ljung.

Liberec Tjeckien 14 may:
Joonas Kylmäkorpi.

Zarnovica Slovakien 15 maj:
Tomas H Jonasson och Fredrik Lindgren.

Reserve: Jacob Thorssell.

Personally I don't think it's fair for Thorssell to be left out (except as a SEC Q reserve) while the others (except Nilsson) get nomination for both SGP and SEC qualies.

Västervik have bought a new airfence that can be dugged own a bit to prevent crashing riders from getting underneath it.

The old fence have been sold to the speedwaytrack in Örebro, don't know though if it's for the 85cc track or the 500cc track.

It actually happened 8-9 years ago but the case haven't been settled until a few days ago:
