Has anyone got teh Div 1 fixtures please ????...or any idea when they will be published

Thanks

I emailed Tony Olsson, who is the highest person in charge in Swedish speedway, but he couldn't give my any info at all about the Div1 and Elit-B fixtures.

The only info he could give me was that they will release the fixtures as soon as they have been finalized.

The fixtures are already on the Sportowefakty calendar for 2014. See the following page, and scroll back and forward though the dates to find what you are after. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/kalendarz/2014/05

There will be a Finnish team called Team Finland in Swedish Div1 this season. They will have their home meetings at Svanstabanan in Nyköping.

It's like winning the lottery for the Finnish guys since they will receive an actual average for the swedish leagues through this instead of the assessed 2,3 something...

EDIT: Thats ever so nicely written statement by Svemo, I might add.

Do you know what riders that we could expect to see?

i'll do my best that every Finnish rider will make the grade to get a snitt for 2015. = )

From memory I'd say that Aarni Heikkilä, Jiri Nieminen, Jooa Partanen, Teemu Lahti, Niko Siltaniemi and Henri Ahlbom(?) are the names I've heard. The rest of the ten mentioned are probably news to me as well. I did not say Nike Lunna, becos the grapevine says he has his own plans, but I hope he's in this as well or whereever, as long as he gets an average.

It has been announced today that Hammarby will be allowed to stay in Allsvenskan, however this is not unconditional.

Svemo have decided that Hammarby's future in the Swedish Speedway leagues system will be conditional of a control program

which have been put together by Svemo.

Also all 2014 league fixtures are now available in Svemo's race calendar: http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Tavling/Tavlingskalender/

Thanks for bracketing "info on the first page" in the threads title Ghostwalker it certainly helps me a lot as it was shocking the number of times i forgot lol. Plus it's great for any newcomers to the thread as we often saw fans ask for info that was on the first page and they never knew.

Just hope i'm still a follower this coming season as i'm unsure i'll continue if there is no English language tv/online broadcast :(
