The for a number of year unused track Hagalund near Lindesberg, home of Lindarna, have been re-approved for use by Svemo.

The approval means that the track is approved for practice but not for any competitive racing.

There are a few tracks of similar status in Sweden, to my knowledge, there are at least two

other tracks that I know of with the same status, one in Östersund and one in Örebro.

Smederna have signed Latvian rider Kjastas Poudzuks as temporary replacement for Kenni Larsen

until Kenni is back from his injury. Smederna says that they decided to sign him after his performance

in the SWC and after talking with Grigorij Laguta.

Added play off information. Please not that the dates for Allsvenskan have been pushed one week forward.

Allsvenskan semi 1 is now scheduled to be held at August 22nd and not Aug 15th as previously stated.

Elitserien championship cup starts with quarter finals at August 20th.

what's the rush with the race cards?

Not life or death lol but they get syndicated by a tv broadcaster and it's good if they can have them within a certain time frame in order to send them out to their subscribers.

Main reason for tonight is what i mentioned before, i'm heading out for a night on the town - it's now 1am in the morning as i set off. I won't be coming back home (yayyy i a dirty little stop out tonight lol), and will only return tomorrow afternoon. I'm sure lots of people print them out at work or at places operating 9 to 5 hours. So no biggie just the way it works. :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Now that the series are done for this year, it is nice to take a look at the statistics. Imo Sportowefakty has the best statistics page.

http://www.sportowef...statystyki/2013

Take a look at the Dom (at home) category and you can see that Grigorij Laguta is the best home rider,

with an average of 2.700p/heat, Jarek is 2nd with 2,667 and Darcy is 3rd with 2,615.

2.7/heat is 10.8 from 4 rides, 13.5 from 5, 16,2 from 6 and 18,9 from 7 rides.

Sportowefaktys overall list is topped by Darcy, Holder, Greg, Jarek and Grigorij.

The official list looks a bit different due to that it does not include bonus. http://www.svemo.se/...3/Rankinglista/

Nice to see Vastervik are secure for 2014.

Västervik Speedway has recovered from the economic problems that led the club had to start a reconstruction in 2010. Since then, costs have been reduced and the club have still clung to the car in the top division and were in the playoffs two years in a row. The reconstruction is now complete and elite license is ready for 2014.
