Good link GHostwalker, Personally i'm satisfied with the Premier Sports coverage and would struggle to fit more viewing hours in, in fact it would be impossible unless i want to become a chair bound hermit lol.

 

However, for those who don't watch as many other sports as i do and have got time to fit more speedway into their leisure hours i've emailed the company and asked them "Will your speedway broadcasts be available to fans in the UK and also US and other countries?"

 

As an addition or a standalone to the UK Premier Sports meeetings it does look good "Livespeedway.se is a new page which will be broadcasted live three matches from each round of the Elite Series regular season, and all matches in Speedway Championship year to honor, not only that, all the matches could go to watch the games afterwards in our archives where the matches are filled the day after, it will come up a host of exclusive material through interviews with drivers and team officials in the different teams."

You do need a Swedish IP number, however you can obviously sort one out for yourself

Cheers that was quite good to watch. Although it might have helped to promote the sport amongst the much sought after demographic of a younger audience if they had chosen a rider a couple of DECADES younger lol.

Dackarna's attendance figures are falling at quite a rate. Fortunately they have set a break even budget figure at 1,800.

 

Dackarnas Club Manager Jorgen Kling says "I can not remember when we had so little people at G & B Arena, actually. It becomes very deserted with so little people in a big arena."

 

They accepted that the first two matches the weather might have put people off but their last match had perfect weather. He goes on to say that speedway has not got worse but there is less overtaking. Also he notes that the team doesn't have such a strong profile this season and is more a young and unknown team.

 

"There is an awesome potential in this team. Despite the low attendance figures so do not club boss to some drastic measures need to be done in the current situation. - No, no! There is no panic, but surely start alarm bells to ring. I think this will correct itself during the season and we have only budgeted for a cut on 1 800. In recent years, we have always budgeted between 1,700 to 1,900 paying spectators."

 

Dackarnas attendance average the last ten years:

Oliver Berntzon went through yesterday's Euro-Junior championship semi/Nordic junior final undefeated.

This means that Oliver is the Nordic Junior champion and that he qualified for the Euro Junior final in Güstrow in August.

Daniel Nermark needs surgery to heal his broken shoulder. He is expected to be away from speedway for 2-3 months.

I would assume that Västervik will try to find a replacement which they are allowed to do even outside the transfer window.

according to this article Tai Woffinden have signed with Elit Vetlanda, however as I can see it, Vetlanda cannot use him until

after the transfer windows in July. The first meeting would be July 23rd. Anything else would be cheating.

Uproar over Emil Sayfutdinov. Looks like he's going to trigger legal action against him for breach of contract. Indianerna named him for his next match but didn't expect him to appear. Obviously the sponsors are rightly miffed. It's a very poor show that apparently the only contact between club and rider is solely through his manager, not very nice at all.

breach if of his contract to refuse to ride.

The latest news about Emil, Indianerna will not pay the remaing part of Emil's sign on bonus.

Daniel Andersson says that Emil's manager became upset when Emil was not picked for last weeks meeting.

 

Daniel also says that they will have a board meeting on Thursday to discuss the matter and

that he most likely won't pick Emil to ride anymore this season.
