RobMcCaffery
The formula's first nine heats are the first half of the old 18 heat test match formula - and the early league formula in the 1930s in the UK, followed by three 'mixed' heats. It seems like a workable solution. I wonder if a rider will be nominated as a reserve to cover tapes or time exclusions, or will they just go with three rider races when they occur? The other consideration is what happens if a rider has to withdraw through injury? Injured Rider Replacement as in the UK?
RobMcCaffery
Sweden has not been included in the UK Government's 'Air Bridges' whereby quarantine restrictions are ended between selected countries, 59 in total, from next Saturday, July 11th. So anyone travelling between Britain and Sweden continues to be required to quarantine for 14 days. Presumably while, for example, Poland to the UK is now open, Sweden remains isolated internationally.

It doesn't answer the minor point about the helmet colour revision where heat leaders/senior rider appear to be going mainly in yellow, Polish-style, instead of white. Ghostwalker
Vargarna announced today that they pull out of Division to focus on Allsvenskan. Without spectators it would be too costly to have both teams going. https://vargarnaspeedway.se/uncategorized/vargarna-drar-sig-ur-div-1/
Ghostwalker
Svemo published two decision protocols (nr 3 and 4 for this year) with some info/confirmation about rule changes/other changes: Only 4 teams in Allsvenskan, Smederna skips Elitserien this season but their Allsvenskan team so that there will be 4 teams in Allsvenskan. ESS have decided to break the agreement with Svemo about providing 3 teams for Allsvenskan. 6 men teams, heat schedule with fixed gates/start positions. No floor average for 2020. 2020 season entry averages will be frozen which means that the averages will change as normal during the season (to determine reserves R/R and such) but will be reverted after the season to what they are now. 7 transfer cards that teams can used before/during the season until that team has completed 75 percent of it's meetings. Every rider is restricted to two complete wheels (4 sides) per meeting. https://www.svemo.se/globalassets/svemo-forbundet/dokumentcenter/protokoll/speedway/2020/beslutsprotokoll_3_track-racing_2020_gallande-elitserien-2020-med-anledning-av-corona-pandemin.pdf https://www.svemo.se/globalassets/svemo-forbundet/dokumentcenter/protokoll/speedway/2020/beslutsprotokoll_4_track-racing_2020.pdf

Ghostwalker
Final results Top 8 to the big final. Bogdanowicz first track reserve. Re-run for second track reserve between Lindman, Eklöf, Selvin and Bergström. Eklöf has apparently left the track already. Lindman dives under Bergström on lap 3 and Bergström drifts out and fall. Heat frozen and Lindman will be second track reserve in the big final in Målilla on 23 July. https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/IndividualDrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=6&CompetitionId=11826&ShowAll=true&SortByResults=true Edited July 7, 2020 by Ghostwalker
