racers and royals Posted April 5, 2018 Report Share Posted April 5, 2018 (edited) Interesting snippet in today’s Star that as feared there will be no Swedish elite league shown on TV in Sweden- there will only be internet coverage(presumably pay to view) however one of the weeks matches will be shown over here by Premier sports. It will be interesting to see what the difference between last years C More programme and this seasons production will be ? It will be a subscription service for either 149 SEK (~12.6GBP) /month or 99 SEK (~8.4GBP)/ day. "Vi känner oss väldigt stolta över att tillsammans med Elitserieföreningen få erbjuda speedwayfans både nationellt och internationellt..." I don't know for payment methods. I would assume bank/credit cards would be one of them. You can change language in you account settings, click the three horizontal bars in the lower left corner. Another thing that I didn't know of is that there apparently will be a UK-style "toss" to decide which teams goes from which gates. To be honest I really dislike the new schedule. Right, as I've had people asking for months about the live Speedway coverage on Premier Sports/Freesports, I think it's finally time to respond. The reason I have not been commentating on the live Polish League meetings so far this year is because, due to them now being covered live, I am unable to travel to the studio and commentate due to my various car racing commitments. Therefore a new commentator has had to be brought in to cover them, and he is learning the job as he goes as he is new to speedway. I will however be covering the Swedish Elitserien live on Tuesday evenings this summer, beginning on May 8th (my birthday) and when the new commentator is not available will cover some of the Polish matches delayed. The following week it's Wednesday at 10pm so it looks like the pattern is going to be live on Premier then one or two days' delay on Freesports.
