racers and royals
It was supposed to have been a rule that 3 Swedish riders per lineup, however now this rule have been scrapped since its apparently is violating EU-laws that says that you cannot limit anything based upon nationality. The teams have made an agreement though to use three Swedish riders per lineup. IMO this agreement will be worth nothing and I think that many teams will break this rule, especially those who can put in a good foreign rider instead of a less good Swedish rider. I also think this rule was necessary for Swedish speedway. http://www.corren.se...62-artikel.aspx http://www.corren.se...66-artikel.aspx The rule doesn`t seem to have bothered the Polish teams with their Polish rider quota`s
Mama
In Poland there is no limit for foreign riders in case of signing contracts - each team is able to sign contracts with lot of foreigners ... But in match line-up (in Ekstraliga) there should be at least 4 Polish riders (at least 3 Poles in 1st and 2nd leagues)

We've had the same rule for years so why does it suddenly become a problem now? Edited April 12, 2013 by Ghostwalker

manchesterpaul
Excellent, I did check their website but missed these. Thanks You're welcome. Don't forget those timings are BST (British Summer Time) which is -1 CEST and +1 UTC/GMT . Also Premier Sports don't send over their own broadcast teams so if the Swedes change their choice of match then UK coverage follows suit. manchesterpaul
Great news is that Premier Sports in the UK have now launched their new online player similar to other tv broadcasters AND it is free to those who subscribe to the tv channel on Sky. Fantastic news as so many sports clash and modern man has easily developed the ability to multiview more than one event. Also, of course it means you can access it away from your TV. The player is available to view on all popular web browsers and all major devices including Iphone, Ipad and Android. It's available in various different bit-rates - the top bit-rate being 5mbps. They state that they are looking to expand to non-UK viewers as soon as possible.

Guess it was lesser competition in this meeting though. Incidentally does anyone else fear that Stockholm's Hammarby have a weak looking side this season? It's usually good for a sport to have it's capital team well supported/successful. Edited April 26, 2013 by manchesterpaul
