lionking
With 10 days till tapes up for this meeting & still not 1 rider named as taking part, has anyone got any idea who is riding ???? The Leicester promoter & our mate Mr Popple keep promising a top class field with Elite League riders i hope they don't fail on this because alot of fans will be annoyed if the field is weak. They have to pull their finger out - The Pride of the East is on the same evening and their line up has already been declared (See seperate thread)

I know C Popple isn't exactly your cup of tea but you can hardly blame him for doing his job i.e. relaying information from the promoter. It's pretty difficult to imagine it's going to be filled with top class Elite League riders considering the ELRC is less than 24hrs later. ELRC line up is 1 Niels K Iversen (King’sLynn) 2 Hans Andersen (Peterborough) 3 Scott Nicholls (Swindon) 4 Darcy Ward (Poole) 5 Troy Batchelor (Peterborough) 6 Rory Schlein (Belle Vue) 7 Chris Holder (Poole) 8 Lee Richardson (Lakeside) 9 Joonas Kylmakorpi (Eastbourne) 10 Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton) 11 Chris Harris (Belle Vue) 12 Ben Barker (Birmingham) Already withdrawn 13 Kenneth Bjerre (King’s Lynn) 14 Tai Woffinden (Wolverhampton) 15 Bjarne Pedersen (Eastbourne) 16 Ryan Fisher (Coventry) So don't expect any of those at BP more likely some 2nd/3rd heat leaders from EL and decent PL riders. TBH I think in PL terms that would be a top class field with Elite league riders which is exactly what we have been told Cheers Warren Edited October 5, 2011 by bornagainlion
flagrag
Latest I have heard is expect to see at least 3 of the Elrc field at Leicester on the Friday and more hopefully added this week along with selection of premier league riders
Elmo
According to the BSPA website, there are 4 PL fixtures that night too. Newport v Glasgow, Plymouth v Newcastle, Somerset v Scunthorpe & Workington v Ipswich.
lionking
Could this be the reason why the pride of the east struggled to get a field because of the amount of riders unwilling to ride the night before the ELRC & high number of Premier league matches Who have you heard ? Latest I have heard is expect to see at least 3 of the Elrc field at Leicester on the Friday and more hopefully added this week along with selection of premier league riders
40-38
Surely it should be the Golden Gauntlets anyway

lionking
Still not the Elite league class field that was promised but for the standard it is becoming a good field, would love to see Garrity in the line up maybe 1 or 2 more lower end Elite League riders like Gomolski , Sitera etc but please no Josh Auty
speedibee
Lingren which one ? and it's Lindgren Edited October 10, 2011 by speedibee
40-38
which one ? and it's Lindgren Ludvig. It's not a bad line up really, and there are elite standard riders in there, alright so it's not Holder and Ward standard but that would have been nigh on impossible anyway with the ELRC the day after and it would have cost a fortune to run it. flagrag
Not really that attractive line up but isnt helped by all the other Premier league matches on Friday and Elite riders asking to much money but I think few more names are to be released this week couple of which are elite riders
