Did anyone go to Gorican this year and can offer a review. Not on the speedway but how to get there, where to stay, the stadium, travel and costs.

 

i'm thinking of making a trip to a gp next year and am undecided where to go

Hi Mark, I went to Gorican this year (by car). It's very easy to get there, it's a few miles from the Hungarian border and the stadium is between Gorican and Donji Kraljevec, you can't miss it . I stayed in 'Hotel Golf' (with a few GP riders haha). That hotel is located in Donji Vidovec and is rougly 20 minutes located from the track. Payed around 35 pounds (I think) for a double room (per night). The food isn't very good though, and they can't speak English very well, so that was a bit difficult.

I'd recommend any of the Polish GPs. Great stadiums, (though not denying that the Croatian one is a good 'un), great atmosphere, and easier to get to.
