HasseHolmqvist
First and foremost well done Grin on your second title, the best rider this year by a distance However I do find it disturbing that the last 2 champions have been in there 40's ... maybe Sudden Sam retired too early
tomcat
Congratulations Grin... what a truly magnificent year. One of speedways true gentleman. Now for 2012... you know you can do it. Just a word for Tomasz Gollob, who has been another really good example of a worthy Champion. He took losing his crown with grace and despite a horrendous year, has maintained his dignity. Well done Tomek. It seems to be the OAP's time right now... well in speedway terms anyhow... It just goes to show, you're never too old. Well Done again Grin, 2011 World Speedway Champion. poppetman
Yes---brilliant---not only has Greg become world champion again after FOURTEEN years but at the age of forty one as well!!! Many of us will remember Ivan saying that he expected his record of six wins to be beaten ( it's only been equalled) but he didn't expect anyone to win at the age of nearly forty as he did in 1979. Well what can you say but well done Greg and you thoroughly deserve the niche you have carved for yourself in the history of speedway. tigerblues
Congratulations Greg. Never imagined last year that he would be in this position but he's been superb this year, so happy that he's sealed a 2nd title. Funny that when Emil burst onto the scene there was talk of this "new guard" taking over and all it seems to have done it spur the old boys on

pandorum
Fantastic win for a fantastic speedway rider. seals Greg's place as the greatest American speedway rider ever. Considering he is in there with the likes of Penhall, the Morans, Hammill and Ermalenko it's no mean acheivement.
Diddy
As a child going to Cradley from the late 80's and early 90's,and being in the pits and centre green numerous times and speaking to riders, straight away, Greg was 1 of my favourite riders,he even gave me is goggles after the year ended 1 of the seasons. when Billy won it in 96, i was chuffed, then the next year Greg steps up to win the title, many years have passed, and i truly thought he would never win it again, but sheer determination and hard work over the winter period as really paid off for Greg, i am over the moon for the guy, and he truly is a wonderful person to talk to and know.....lets also not forget all the people in is pit crew who put in hours after hours of work......CONGRATULATIONS GREG ON YOUR 2ND WORLD TITLE......1997 & 2011. Greatest USA rider ever  Hate to say it but Penhall was the best ever ... and if he had rode on would have at least 5 championships by now ... based on British Speedway that title belongs to Sam Ermolenko ... but yes Grin is a fantastic rider ( just dont get carried away)
