Plymouth 2012

Does this mean you will stop your never ending whinging on here?

It seems that Bowden may not be everyones cup of tea but really you must accept that you are a `fan`, and that means you pay for 15 heats of racing. It does entitle you to choose the promotor of Plymouth Speedway.

??? :t: :t:

That's GREAT News for Plymouth Supporters.:wink:

To answer yout first question, no, to answer your second bit, i'm not a Mike Bowden fan like you, and while he is there i won't pay for 15 heats of speedway, PL or NL. if he put some of the money he made in the first six years of speedway back into the club, it woud not be in the mess it is now, the place hasn't changed from the day it started, he just added a bar, and we all know why.

Clearly the fan base isn't good enough else he wouldn't be and I quote 'Using money out of his own pocket'!

And it will be even less next year if the team go into the NL Mike.

Problem with that is it might mean the club is finished altogether, and it took nearly 40 years to bring it back before.

The way I see it is if it is a choice between speedway with Bowden or no speedway at all I'd opt for the former every time.

Thats a choice we will all have to make Halifaxtiger, i have made my choice and if it was the only sport i have a passion for then maybe i would have made a different choice, but i will stick to the one i have made, my grandson won't like it but thats the one i have made, but that £20 less i will have to spend on a friday that will stay in my pocket instead of the promotor of Plymouth Speedway.

That's not a problem. I'd much rather pop up the road to Somerset than give any more money to him.

Fair enough but those who cant get to Somerset or anywherelse for that matter might not have much choice if they want to see abit of speedway. Now that the buy-out has fallen through I think it wouldnt be the worst thing if Mr Bowden tried abit of fence building with his fan base,or customers if you want to put it another way.

Screm if he do manage to get a place in the NL, lets see what kind of team he gets together, if it's like the top heavy teams we have had in the past in the NL it will take a lot more than fence building to get the missing fans back.

It was actually a genuine question.

I don't spend hours reading up on stuff that don't affect me like Plymouth Spedway (200 miles away from me)I do have a life.!!!!!!

It was a tongue in cheek reply in a nutshell the plymouth promoter has cheesed off the fan base with his attitude that much there is very little off them left willing to support the said promoter , his attitude towards the supporters with contempt and the non payment off riders allegedly .

Not many off them left willing to put up with his alleged antics and he has been trying to sell up i've probably missed loads more but you should try and read through at least the last ten pages that should give you a better in-sight
