Plymouth 2012

Recommended Posts

I do not know what is going on at SBA and I have not been able to get down to Plymouth this season. It is terrible to read on this forum and the Plymouths site the discord there is.

When I heard the Devils were reopening those years ago I was over the moon. I never thought I would see the Devils back. There were so many obstacles and the track was on a rugby pitch that I played on in my younger days. The Plymouth and SW people took to the team and the crowds were good. You only have to see how many fans they take or took to away matches to know how much the team are loved.

You have to thank Mr Bowden for brining the Devils back but.

Garry Spiller losing his job in the manner he did was the real first thing that really made me look and think what the hell is going on.

SBA may not be the best of stadiums but the racing has improved and improved and I think there has been more overtaking their in meetings I have seen than at many other tracks I have visited.

The Plymouth supporters deserve speedway. They will come in numbers. They appear to be staying away for one reason only.

Please do not let the Devils die. I truly believe if the correct promoter could be found to take over then the crowds will respond and they will make money.

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE DEVILS DIE.

the clock is ticking because the longer bowden is at the helm its only going to end badly and soon

Hopefully this week will see a positive outcome and there will be loud cheers for the leaving of Bowden, yes he brought speedway back to Plymouth but he has had 6 years of us saying thank you in the way of massive crowds through the gates increasing his bank balance and what has he given back to us, sweet FA in regards to manky toilets, no supporters club, track facilities on the dangerous side ie unsafe fencing and grandstand, electric cables hanging off fencing, no lighting on exit by vans etc thats just fir starters! and if you dare to mention any of this to the great man he bans you from the track! brilliant PA

Believe me, he is still making money he just doesn't want anyone to know he is as then he'll have to give more away...

Spot on Mike, why do you think he only has his family on the gate taking the money, he may have to get some money out of his pocket to get someone in for Robert Ksiesak who got injured riding for Berwick over the weekend.

MB was a very quiet man on Friday night not on the pa every chance promoting his money making ventures. Even asked if anyone would like to buy the portable lighting at the end of the meeting.

Good luck with tomorrow Robert hope it good news.
