Lord Skid
Mike has'nt conned anyway out of money all riders are paid That's alright then, rumour had it that they had to take a pay cut and were only getting basic BSPA pay rates, and had to go swing for the rest that was in their contract, but we're all glad that's not true then. lewy
a new promotion at plymouth would be so appreciated i am sure the attendances would incease the riders would be happier supporters club would start again and they would get all the voluntary help they would want because the plymouth fans love thier speedway but they really dont like the present promotion
Roger MARTIN
The reason for the drop in the support at the SBA has nothing to do with the speedway team, because like lewy has said the Plymouth fans love there speedway, but there comes a time when you have to say where is the money going, and how much longer can i support someone who's only interest is to take your money and can't even be bothered to pay his riders, i spend over £20 every friday at the SBA, £13 for myself, £5 for my grandson, and he has £5 to spend at the track, but when you look what Bowden is doing, you have to say do i support what is going on, and i'm sorry but i can not, if someone else was to take over i would be back there like a shot, but until then i will be spending my friday nights at home. If everyone stops going like yourself - the Track will close and there will be no Speedway Track for a prospective Promoter to take over.  You can be a long time closed.  Sunderland - Thirty Eight years - and STILL waiting.

orderly
I feel that it’s about time that Nicki Glanz and any of the other riders that are owed money issue an order through the small claims court; they can also claim a small percentage of interest on the debt and costs and also inform the BSPA of their actions.  This man must be stopped in the interest of speedway

The captain has to sign a form every home meeting as to whether the riders are being paid or not. Sometime they sign on behalf of the team if promises have been given, but it those promises fail then the captain has to do what he has to do. Devilforever
and if the captain dares to stand up to Bowden he has his captaincy stripped off him and given to another rider!
Roger MARTIN
and if the captain dares to stand up to Bowden he has his captaincy stripped off him and given to another rider!  That's all makes sense why Cory Gathercole is captain now, who's next i wonder ?  roger the racing is top notch i still go because i feel if bowden doesnt sell up he wont run next year anyway so i suspect he will look to sell asap  I agree with that lewy, i have a feeling he will not run next year, or try and go into the NL, see how i feel tonight and may go and see the crowd on bend two. Devilforever
well Barbie it seems you dont know much of what is going on in your Dads world because a certain rider was having a right old go at your Dad last night in full view of spectators shouting for £500 cash in unpaid wages of which he is owed a hell of a lot more and your Dad was still trying to get away with only offering him £300, I understand you sticking up for your Dad but I am afraid his principles stink!

He owes over 4k to two riders , even the BSPA can't get it
Whisperer
For the paying customers to see and hear that their admission money has not been paid to riders in a timely fashion is an absolute outrage, this man has dragged the sport into the gutter as far as integrity goes. It is an open secret that most of the team are owed money, some of it substantial, guest riders will not have been paid and I'll wager there are monies owed to other clubs and the authorities. Lets be honest (sic) most of last nights admission money would have been in cash and if he couldn't allocate £500 to prevent his rider kicking off and to prevent his customers witnessing the same he has got it so, so wrong. Clearly he cannot make ends meet and instead of blagging his way through he should call a halt and stop running up debts he cannot currently pay for if he continues to trade with everybody else's money he could take others out with him. The BSPA may be allowing him to continue for the good of the Premier League and the sport in Plymouth but should he make the end of the league season he cannot possibly be allowed to run a speedway club ever again and the BSPA must remove his licence forever.  I have not mentioned the trouser incident at all but no doubt Montie will.
