screm
Gjedde has had a slow start in 2 away meetings, think he'll pick up though, he's riding better for us than he did for Berwick last season although granted he isn't riding to the standards he showed at Newport. Dont see where the advantage is to Gjedde getting up to the same kinda tricks as he did last year as theres no other team where theres an opening for him. Gjedde is a top PL rider, once he gets the Rye House track sorted out he should do a good job for them.

He was one of the best riders in the PL last season for Newport,Im sure he can do that again this season for Rye House.

Well hopefully he can keep his average high enough for the Rockets to use a decent guest for him when we come up to Berwick! Mr Snackette
Signing The Cheese was always a gamble. His average provides little room for improvement, and restricts points availability, if trying to build / rebuild a side. Now if the Rockets have signed Caerphilly, then they are laughing, as they have a hard solid reliable cheese. On the other hand it's Coquetdale, it's exotic texture can be a little flaky and unreliable, and consequently is not to everyone's taste!! Time will no doubt tell. wjm
Looks to me like Chas may have the same mindset that he had when racing for Berwick last year. Strange that he totally upped his game when he signed for Newport... Just a theory, but perhaps Berwick and Rye House offered him guaranteed money (as I know Len does for all the rest of the side) plus money on top for extra points gained, whilst Newport were offering a different deal with less guaranteed and more money per point? I wouldn’t even know if that is his motive, think it just depends which side of the bed he wakes up which rider decides to turn up, strange guy. Could still come good for Rye, more than likely will – would be interesting to see how Silver dealt with things if he does start with the antics he had at Berwick. Silver has enough savvy, and has dealt with enough riders that I couldn’t see him suffering his BS very long.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
No accounting for what comes out of a Suffolker's gob Shadders GB will have no contestant in the Olympic mixed carrot crunching after the entrant from Norfolk said that the rule stating his partner had to be his wife mother or cousin was too limiting a choice!! Mr Snackette
No accounting for what comes out of a Suffolker's gob Shadders Nobody is surprised that a cheese analogy was far too testing for someone from Naaaaaaaaarwich!!! Indeed the only time the word is used in Norfolk - " say hello to Ena...cheese my wife and sister"!!! Anyway a video taken at a service station just outside Kings Lynn:
Bagpuss
Service station? What's one of those anyway looking forward to popping down to the Foxhole to have a little look at the Twitches at some point this year, once I can get in at the doctors for my jabs I'll be there

bolly
BREAKING NEWS Carol Kirkwood (BBC weather girl) has just been sacked by the BBC and Len Silver will replace her He will stand in front of a magnetic map of the UK and stick on blue/red/white or yellow motorbike helmets depending on whether its rideable weather or not ? Then he will toss a 2 pound coin to see where the newsreaders sit on the sofa and throw the coin into the studio audience Love him or hate him he appears to have an uncanny knack of knowing if the weather will allow meeting to go ahead. Shadders
Only someone like mr snackete would call signing gjedde a gamble! You're going on his Newport form though. What about if he puts in the kind of efforts he did for the Bandits?

Shadders
and what reason would he have to do that? If I knew why he did what he did to Berwick last year I could attempt an answer!
