Lovey
I said when the team was announced that we would be mid table with no silver wear.Bowen won't finish the season,Hawkins won't win a race so the pressure will be on the other riders to get the points. i think these two riders are our weak links. I like that idea of "silver wear" - is that what they used when they went skiing recently

andrewrunagall
I think he was a reserve at Cardiff in 2008, but didn't get a ride.... I'm now not sure Linus was a Rocket when he rode in a GP Linus was indeed a Rye House rider when he was a SGP reserve, as the next day he was riding in the PL Fours. Kennett also was riding for us when he was nominated as a reserve for the British SGP when he scored a point.
bolly
But I think as either previously stated here or on the Rye House Website, Jason Bunyan is the first current Rye House rider to be named in the main body of a Grand Prix. tonyd
Hoping for a peaceful one this year Was there ever a conclusion to whatever went on? I believe a paper reported that someone was arrested and held after a incident at the track the night before the last press and practise but I dont remember hearing or reading anything else about it since. I heard it was connected to the reason why Nelson had a black eye. Oh well, I hope to be there on the Friday, just hope the weather is bright enough. Shadders
I heard it was connected to the reason why Nelson had a black eye. Oh well, I hope to be there on the Friday, just hope the weather is bright enough. Heard various different stories, but we never really got to the bottom of it. Still, it gave everyone else a good laugh... Hopefully the bad influences have left the club, so we can look forward to having no outside distractions when the season gets going in 32 days Edited February 13, 2012 by Shadders
bolly
Saw in todays local paper that Eddie K will join Tai and Linus in the Rockets match against Peterboro. Normally couldn't care less about challenge matches, but seeing Linus, Eddie, Tai and the Bjerre boys, along with Jordan, Neathy and Nelson could be entertaining. My understanding is that Eddy will be lining up for the Panthers in place of Lasse Bjerre.
bolly
Yes, I think your right Shadders, but Eddie is one of my favourite riders so it will be interesting to see some of the best Rye riders of the past 10 or so years up against each other Now if we can get Tommy and Brent as well

LagutaRacingFan
Panthers should line up something like this. 1. Linus Sundstrom 2. Rene Bach? 3. Michael Jepsen Jensen 4. Olly Allen 5. Eddie Kennett 6. Kyle Newman 7. Expect an easy Panthers win.

bolly
If the team is as above, I think Rye with the addition of Tai will run the Bjerre less Panthers close. Linus v Neathy - Linus just Bach v Tyson - even MJJ v Richie/Luke - MJJ win Olly v Jordan - Jordan win Eddie v Tai - even Kyle v Richie/Luke - Richie/Luke win ??? v Jason G - ??? Head to head match ups look for a close match at Rye ?? If it was at the showground then it looks more like 6 out 7 to Panthers
Jeanzi
Rene Bach will be riding for Workington along with Richard Lawson.
iand
Perhaps the Panthers can be bring in a couple of Lakeside riders, say Robbo and the Mear Cat. Now that would make it ieven more nteresting
LagutaRacingFan
Bach scored a 15 point max at Rye in the U21 meeting vs the likes of Pawlicki's and Macej Janowski.
