Tatums Left Nut
cheers pal, I've got that one already, beggars can't be choosers eh. I choose foreign everytime, it's easier to mentally blank out the commentary when you don't understand it . Sadly, the Sky/Premiersports coverage makes me switch off completely . Tatums Left Nut
Mute button? Would be a stupid move . There's no point to speedway without the noise of the engines . Now, if you could mute the commentary only, they might get my custom .

ImpartialOne
By my calculations, Greg Hancock is now the World Champion Hancock 8 Hampel 4 Greg 35 in front. Hampel needs 16 more points from this meeting to stay in it and he can only gain 15 even if Greg doesn't add to his score.
alan_boon
3 races, 3 wins. Niiiiice. Staechmann talks some rubbish sometimes - "Zagar would have been in the lead at the first bend so the referee has to give it to him". The race lasts 4 laps, Jan. So Hampel needs another 12 from this meeting, with Hancock not scoring, to keep it alive. He can still score 15.
manchesterpaul
By my calculations, Greg Hancock is now the World Champion Hancock 8 Hampel 4 Greg 35 in front. Hampel needs 16 more points from this meeting to stay in it and he can only gain 15 even if Greg doesn't add to his score. If Greg doesn't score again Hampel can get a maximum of 15 this meeting and 24 in the last GP = 39. Hancock either not scoring or getting injured. So reckon Pearson will say any moment now that Hampel is breathing down Hancock's neck! I mean he did say Perdersen is putting pressure on Holder for 8th place when with one and a bit meetings to go the gap between 8th and 9th is 13 points. I'm also a little puzzled when the commetator said it's a good crowd, i was about to make my first post earlier on to say that i was very disappointed with the large gaps in the stadium. Maybe my poor memory from previous seasons? Edited September 24, 2011 by manchesterpaul
Pirate Nick
By my reckoning Greg is 35 ahead, Hampel can score a maximum 39 therefore Greg needs 5 pts?
Marmite
Listening to Pearson talk about Hancock every single race, might as well rename it the 'Pearson loves Hancock' show... I better mute the moment Hancock does win the title, or Pearson's love for Greg will get so loud it will bust my speakers.

That's like saying you'd rather be deaf and blind rather than just deaf. I find it strange that you wouldn't believe me . I really cannot stand any of the English speaking broadcasts, it's a barrage of the banal & stupid, just excessive time filling nonsense . I have tried 'muting', but invariably i get bored of the lesser product, i channel hop & invariably just don't bother hopping back . For me, the ideal speedway broadcast is TV-commentator-free, as has been followed in the Allsvenskan Live On The Net thread .
ImpartialOne
By my reckoning Greg is 35 ahead, Hampel can score a maximum 39 therefore Greg needs 5 pts? Yeah, I was getting ahead of myself. It sounded right until I started writing it down. But I think the next race may finish the job.

Got to admit i'm suing him already after the heat when Hancock made a good start, serious heart attack triggered. I thought it was hilarious how he stopped Jan with his startling SHOUTING as he was about to say something. I'm sure he fell clean of his chair. Got to admit it was a very embarrassing piece of 'commentating' he simply carried on SHOUTING for ages.
