SCB
What a weekend for Coventry speedway - first they win the Midland Cup and now they have the World Champion on their books! #graspingatstraws And the GP winner. Coventry Bees, winning what matters in 2011
CMV06
Harris did well.... top scorer from heats, 2nd place and 19 points. Think that will ensure him the wild card for next season???
spencebel
Well done AJ on your win..
Marmite
Think that will ensure him the wild card for next season??? I don't think he has done enough yet, but if he reaches the final in the next and final GP, then maybe he is worth one final wildcard shot. SCB
Think that will ensure him the wild card for next season??? Not on it's own. Another performance like it in 2 weeks time maybe. However, as a Bomber fan, I hope he doesn't get a wild card. Give him a year out to realise how much he needs the GP's, rather than just wants them. Too many poor starts (to a season rather than a race) needs to be sorted, the speedway season starts in March. Maybe Chris needs a winter in Australia to allow him to hit the ground running in March. I always find it frustrating that he starts the season so slowly when, come the end of it, he looks like he belongs up with the Worlds elite. Maybe a good bit of pre-season will blow away the cob webs and see him be the rider that he clearly has the ability for. My worry is that, if he gets left out of the GP for one sason, will he get back again? I'm not so sure, particularly if Woffinden keeps on improving. I hope he can, I'll be well happy if he puts in another good performance in a fortnights time and at least puts the ball in the organisers court (along the lines of Marmites point).
