2ndbendbeerhut
Nope.... on a nice low average would do quite well As for the return of 13 heat format, its only really the gate positions that meant that the team managers could do more so why not let them do the same over a 15 heat format? cowboy cookie returns?
The non fixed gate positions & the old tac sub rule seemed to work much better & the old tac sub rule is much less micky mouse. I also feel i had better value for money with 13 heats & a second half.
Baldyman
Wasn't Doolan on a low average for this season? He isn't exactly setting the world on fire at Redcar is he. Doolan is not the way to go for next season.

aljack
what happened to all those REAL DEAL AUSSIES. Quite honestly nothing wrong with the "REAL DEAL AUSSIES" apart from Doolan, its the other 3 riders in the team who have not achieved whats expected of them. Doolan has been a complete flop and been dropped and Lanhams average has fallen like a stone so he can get a team place elsewhere next season and so its not a problem. Tress has gone backwards this season at a fast rate and Risagers form was so bad he dropped to reserve. None of the other 4 Aussies were expected to fill a heatleaders place and Rohan and Dak have been great and upped their averages along with Cam. Taylor was sadly badly injured in the first meeting and has found it very difficult riding at no1 on his return and who can blame him should have never been expected to fill that position in the first place. So there you go this is why Witches will win nothing this season yet again for the 14th season on the trot under louis.

Ipswich Jules
Oh dear that clucking Egg Cup again that nobody else bothered about including me. Its about time it was "Laid to Rest" Yet you're quick to jump on the bandwagon when Jenga spouts more pointless crap about Ipswich not qualifying for the PL pairs - surely you wouldn't care we didn't qualify for the pairs or the 4TT as they are both egg cups? Right? Or, is it as I suspect, you just changing your tune to have yet another go at the promotion about a "lack of heatleaders" despite using YOUR OWN WORDS you would of also built a team with no "genuine heatleaders"! Such a troll, oh and a clown :icon_smile_clown: :icon_smile_clown: Another reason we should keep Poole is after a winter of racing in aussie Poole should come back in 2013 raring to go, so it is us he rides for and not another team. I think Masters will possibly think about returning to Somerset next year, so how about the Aussie Witches in 2013 Masters Poole Doolan North Tungate Heeps Nielsen I wouldn't have Doolan personally, would like to see Rasmus Jensen given a look - wouldn't he be a 5pt assessed? I believe he'd come on an assessed 7, but he'd definitely be worth a look, maybe get him over for the 16Lapper
aljack
I believe he'd come on an assessed 7, but he'd definitely be worth a look, maybe get him over for the 16Lapper Yes and then another team sign him, seem to remember quite a few riders have gone this way. Louis as Ive stated before moves like a snail when it comes to signing riders or replacing under achievers. Just look at this season we still have lanham and tress in the team, if they rode elsewhere they would have been shown the door months ago. Louis as Ive stated before moves like a snail when it comes to signing riders or replacing under achievers. Just look at this season we still have lanham and tress in the team, if they rode elsewhere they would have been shown the door months ago. why would rasmus go elsewhere when he's already been over here, not riding, and spent time with joe jacobs and cam. add to that he also spent the winter 'down under' with the pair of them also? yes he will ride for whoever he wants but i feel it'd take a lot for him to ride elsewhere if he was to come over. we are all aware of the underachievers, but this year has been a series of unfortunate events. work commitments have reduced my attendances to once thus far, but i support win or lose. you have a grievance against Chris or John or both, which is quite clearly a personal matter which is clear for all to see. My opinion on you is that you require speedway from the 70's, and haven't just gone with the times. Speedway probably has changed, especially not better for the brits, n perhaps not for speedway in general. But the product is what it is, neither me nor you or many others on here are in a position to change that. with regards to the 'egg' cup. you still are, or at least were, a mildenhall supporter. are you saying them winning the 4tt and the pairs is meaningless??? ok, so we didn't qualify for two cups, we are still in 2 semi finals i believe and still potential to get into the play-offs so don't right them off just yet. Ok fair enough as you know we all have opinions on whatever is happening at speedway. As you have only attended once at foxhall this season whereas Ive attended nearly all, I feel I know a little more than you on whats happening at foxhall as your judgements are from afar. Perhaps I am yearning for the brilliant speedway at foxhall during the 70s and 80s we all drooled over and got excited about but that will never be while we stay in the inferior premier league. Pere Ubon
Cut off is the 23rd so i think these are right..... Tungate 6.90 Lanham 6.80 North 6.65 Risager 6.45 Poole 6.20 Tres 5.68 Heeps 4.76 Sadly 2BH's figures are a little out. Official Green Sheet Averages: 1 Leigh Lanham 6.79 2 Rohan Tungate 6.78 3 Dakota North 6.47 4 Morten Risager 6.26 5 Taylor Poole 6.16 6 Matt Tresarrieu 5.78 7 Cameron Heeps 4.40 So will Leigh spend September trying to get his avearge down? Despite his last two performances his RA continues to fall, and now stands at 6.69. Surprisingly, with just one home and two away meetings scheduled before the next set of GSAs are calculated, Lanham now sits at #1 in the Witches' averages. Mind you it's very tight, with young Poole and Tungate just 0.01 behind, North at 6.64, Risager 6.23, Tres 6.02, and the boy Heeps 4.41. Who gives a toss anyway . Most people go to Speedway to be entertained not to work out who has an average of .01 better than somebody else. Despite Mick The Muppet's disparaging remarks it looks like old Snackette was bang on the money. Edited August 30, 2012 by Pere Ubon
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
A great away win last night but the play offs are still a long shot imo. I believe we need to double the Monarchs to put ourselves back in the frame. Whilst this is possible it is far from probable.
