Baldyman
Like I said, I can't remember, but obviously there have been a few. Probably doesn't happen very often. Try Berwick in 05: Scott Smith on 6.92 Also that year, Rye House had Tommy Allen on 6.26 Wow, how did Berwick do that season?
refereerick
Points limits might have been a bit higher then? What about Kalle Katajisto at Edinburgh a couple of seasons back? Edited May 30, 2012 by refereerick

Did Kalle not move into the team though, not dropping down.
screm
Wow, how did Berwick do that season? Berwick finished 2nd in the PL that season, they spent quite a few weeks on top before being beaten to the title by Rye House.
SCB
Can only suggest Joel Parsons, or one of his teammates, in their compact team of about PL winning side 2004 circa. Joel was number 7 and averages about 5 (he replaced Danny Norton on a 3). Ross Brady on 5.52 started in reserve but soon increased his average to 7.5ish meaning Emiliano Sanchez stayed in reserve the rest of season and averaged 7.35. There team was Karlsson, Stead, Thorp, Brady, Krammer, Sanchez, Parsons. I apologise if the figures are a little out but I'm trying to concentrate on sorting out my badge collection so may have recalled something incorrectly. It was hell of a side and everyone could win races on any track. Strength in depth and a number 1, must be the way to go.

So Poole has been "dropped" (can you "drop" and injured rider?!)

2ndbendbeerhut
Taken from lovespeedway24.co.uk Poole heartache as Witches re-declare their team without him ‘I WANT to be back at Ipswich’. So says disappointed Ipswich Witches teenage star Taylor Poole after his hopes of returning to the Suffolk side this season were dealt a major blow. The ‘Sackers’ Witches have re-declared their team for tomorrow’s Premier League encounter with Rye House Rockets at Foxhall Stadium, with the returning Morten Risager back in the 1-7 – and Poole frozen out. Both riders crashed out of the opening night meeting of the season in March – ironically against Rye House – Risager with a back injury and Poole with a broken arm. But it’s Risager who has won the battle for fitness, returning to the starting line-up. “I’m disappointed, but I’m not surprised,” Poole said. “I was sort of expecting it, but it’s not nice. I love Ipswich and I want to be back at Ipswich whether this season or next. “But I’m still a few weeks away from being fully fit and Morten is ready now. That’s just the way it is.” Director of speedway at Foxhall Chris Louis admitted it was a tough decision to re-declare the side without the popular Poole. “I was gutted for both boys at the start of the season because I know how much hard work they had put into pre-season. I think most people thought Taylor would be back sooner than Morten, but that’s not been the case and Taylor is still six weeks or so away. “All Taylor can do now is to get fit and in six weeks see where we stand. If someone is not performing then Taylor may fit back into the side. But in some ways I don’t want that because it will mean there has been an injury to someone or someone hasn’t been performing.” Risager rides at No.4 tomorrow night, with Rohan Tungate moving into the team at No.2. Frenchman Mat Tresarrieu moves to reserve.
Baldyman
Shame for Taylor, if not fitted back into our team he should easily get fixed up if another team is looking to strengthen. Also good to read that he wants to come back next season, although it would be bad pr saying anything else.
spanner47
Unlike most of our team, Taylor can gate. So i can think of at least one track where he'd be suited.

Also good to read that he wants to come back next season, although it would be bad pr saying anything else. I can't see the problem. Provided Lanham hasn't haemorrhaged his average to a figure below 6.90, and young Poole has proved his fitness, then it will be a straight swop. After all this was the team that all and sundry (not I, I should hasten to add) predicted to take all before it!!!!
screm
As Ipswich have re-declared their 1-7,surely if and when Poole becomes ready to race,it will be for another club,or will it be up to the managements discrection.
aljack
Well Taylor Poole when fit would go straight back into my team and take Lanhams place, easy decision. Louis said take an underperformers place well theres no bigger underperformer than Lanham
