Tom Thumb
maybe we can find a buyer for Jarek, Robert, David, Marcin, Zibi, Tobi etc etc
Lovey
I wouldnt read to much into it,balancing the books can mean anything, selling an asset that isnt used is good business sense, and if it balances the books then good, See my update above, with the quote from Chris Louis. It certainly puts into context any thoughts of a return to the not-even-close-to-Elite League.
2ndbendbeerhut
Is there any reason to have assets anyway and do they have any "real" worth? Maybe the promotion have sold to free up some cash for a fresh rider to come in?Taking a look at the Witches assets, who else could be worth anything in the current climate? Looks good on paper though...... Karol Baran Kevin Doolan Tomasz Gollob Jarek Hampel Joe Jacobs Tobi Kroner Leigh Lanham Robert Miskowiak Jacek Rempala Marcin Rempala Tony Rickardsson Morten Risager Chris Slabon David Stachyra Zibi Suchecki Rohan Tungate Cameron Heeps
ZODIAK
Is there any reason to have assets anyway and do they have any "real" worth Well yes to both obviously. Ipswich have just sold an "asset" which your promoter has just said has given the club added security.
2ndbendbeerhut
What i was getting at is why would a promotion want to buy an asset? Saves them on loan fees but is it cost effecctive? As seen with Adrian Miedziński riders will ride for whom they want regardless of who owns them.
Super Blue
Asset status means nothing these days , riders ride for Who they want to . If you can get cash for their name then well done but I still wouldn't call it big news .

If you can get cash for their name then well done but I still wouldn't call it big news . I think you've missed the point that Chris Louis needed some dosh for the club. British speedway is almost totally reliant upon cash flow, and there hasn't been any since Good Friday ...
Super Blue
So what's the big news then about it as I said earlier ? Getting cash in is obviously important but it hardly requires Bacon getting everybody excited by putting spurious tweets out !

There isn't an asset system you know. If he comes on here, expect a lot of big words.
Baldyman
Oh well, was hoping a new young up and coming rider was being given a chance to impress, since according to Chris, it is vital they continue to do so. Can now see rr given the chance for fair while. If the sale of Danny keeps the club afloat for another couple of years or until we sell Cameron and. Rohan, that can only be a good thing. I see us being in the prem for many a season yet, and I am perfectly happy with that.

Aries
Taylor Poole has just tweeted "that suit is now history" and linked a photo of him riding in his Witches suit. Does that suggest Risager has got the nod?.....
2ndbendbeerhut
Think its more of a case that the suit was cut off after his accident......

You may be right although a bit strange to tweet that now several weeks after it was cut off.
