Mr Snackette
Josh Grajczonek would fit if Dakota North signed instead of Risager. I'll admit given the circumstances that it would be a big surprise if Risager didn't sign, but who knows maybe we're all wrong on that. Who knows anything is possible, but once Tres' name was put in the frame, I think the six were nailed on.

I think you're probably right. Speaking of Tres, delighted if he's confirmed. Seemed to score better away than at home and was good for double figures at a lot of tracks. Always handy to have a good traveller in the team. And of course very entertaining with it.
Mr Snackette
Morris has more potential and is already a better rider than any of those. Then north. It's all down to circumstances though guess. Wonder why the rebels don't want north though. There is a big doubt over whether Morris will ride in the UK in 2012. If he does, then Swindon are thought to be in prime position to offer him a NsEL contract, which would of course virtually rule him out for a place with the Witches. Baldy I don't know what to say, this is such a negative post and we don't even know our starting 7 yet for goodness sake. Baldyman
What I mean is, is that would be a hell of a team that I couldn't see losing.
Racin Jason
I don't think it's a case of Somerset not wanting north but as a peterboro asset he can choose where he prefers to ride. And the Ipswich and pboro promotion seem to get on well too so ita a mutualy beneficial situation

Even if Somerset dont want or dont sign North, in my opinion as they have a very strong top end and good back up they are strong favourites to win everything going in 2012 if they all stay fit. What a marvellous top 2 they have and they can pencil in many 5 - 1s in heats 13 and 15 whereas Witches have as their top 2 Doolan 7.19 and probably Poole 6.90 who will seldom get any home or away. North did fantastic at foxhall while at reserve but his form tailed off after going into the team.

I have seen many teams that looked great on paper, but less so when they actually took to the track. Remember last year, in the Speedway Star preview, "The Great &The Good" ranked Glasgow as eleventh out of fourteen!!!!

Remember before last season had actually started Witches were firm favourites to win everything on paper but looked what happened. Theres alot made of the injuries Witches had but their form up to Risagers injury had hardly been in championship winning proportions. This coming seasons team if what we all read is going to be the team, is certainly not going to be tipped to win anything, so who knows might win all thats going - well might!!! Baldyman
From what I have seen so far I would say we have a team that could finish around 3rd or 4 th, but that's all that's needed to get into the play offs. What I would be more worried about is not making team changes at the right time if they are needed. This has often been a problem in the past. Roland
My apologies before I get going and stand to be corrected (please feel free) but why are there no Polski's in the PL? I could think of a couple that could be No.1's easy. Again, please feel free to shoot this down!
Weeyin
I think the Poles have to race on an ACU licence for the premier League...not on a Polish licence
Mr Snackette
.........why are there no Polski's in the PL?........... Or indeed in the NsEL......... and after the shenanigans of last season, I can't say I blame the promoters for being very wary of signing any!!!!!! As for the PL with over half the league racing at the weekend, the logistics of using a Pole does present difficulties. More importantly judged on the ones that have been at Foxhall over recent years, they are as dull as ditch water and should be avoided like the plague!! I think the Poles have to race on an ACU licence for the premier League...not on a Polish licence I don't think currently any license restrictions placed on the Poles. However to race in the PL they have to be regarded as Cat. 2 riders. This means that only those rider's with an average of six or less in either the Ektraliga or Eliteserien will be classed thus, and come in to the PL on an assessed average of 7.00. Given all the baggage associated with the Poles, the assessed average makes them a real gamble. Notwithstanding the fact they could miss half your away meetings!!!! spanner47
Yes my sentiments also, it would be nice just once to have a team capable of winning the league. Its great to have entertainers but Witches if without a genuine no1 will win nothing and it will be the 13th year on the trot with not achieving any success. I thought the idea the Louis dropped down into an inferior league was to leave more options for better riders and success with more money available, apparently not. Aljerk, you keep on and on about having a No 1, Glasgow won the league last year because they had a brilliant reserve for almost the whole season. Hopefully one of our young boys will do for us, what Morris did for them. Given the choice of Kev or Joe, i'd certainly pick the former as my No 1. Weeyin
It wasn't just Nick who won the league for us...yes he had a few brilliant meetings at reserve...but Theo and Raj also had some brilliant meetings at reserve....where we did have an advantage was that if one rider had a bad day the rest of the team did the business...every one of the team had off days including Joe and James....Think it will be much more difficult next season ....If you can have Cameron and Rohan at reserve for most of the season you should do well .. Great but they were that dull but two of them were world champions and another one finished in the top three
