Ipswich 2012

Recommended Posts

Firstly I truly hope next season you have no need to use guests, but should that occasion arise, I truly hope your promoter TM won't ask Kevin to guest for you then, because he's the kind of guy who will agree to try and help you out, but obviously his best is not enough for you Worky lot :........

How disingenuous of you Badge. Everyone knows that Worky had dreadful injuries last year. Kildemand, poor chap, was so badly injured that he could only muster the odd double figure score in Denmark whilst he was out!!! The legendary Duchess of Sherborne post made interesting reading as to how Worky were given this open ended RR facility. I'm sure the Worky promotion wouldn't have sold their soul so cheaply......but it makes you think!!!!

........................Not many Ipswich fans sad at this announcement I bet, we think he's great, and am so glad CL and Pete stuck with him last year.............

Blimey this is a worry.....I'm agreeing with you again. Indeed I would also agree with an earlier correspondent who reckoned he's been the Witches best skipper since Moggo. Good rider, good skipper, and bl**dy nice bloke!!

.............Oh and how can anyone think that our teams in the EL were cheap  , hardly think Mark Loram, Hans Andersen, Scott Nicholls and Jarek Hampel were cheap :nono:

Ah there we are, I knew it wouldn't last!!!! Whilst I would agree that the above do not come cheap, Ipswich did not have the resources to keep them. Hence for the time in the NsEL we were restricted to using journeyman Poles, whom the Promotion could afford.

Mind you given our past record, two out of three ain't bad. Cue Meatloaf!!!!!

and the rest of the premier league teams breathe a sigh of relief.

There's been a fair few fans of other clubs who put Doolan in their potential teams for next year. It seems the Ipswich promotion have more options for a Witches septet than most with apparently many riders calling them to offer their services, and yet Doolan is once again one of the first names on the team sheet. Chris Louis isn't daft.

Whilst I'm sure Badge is more than capable of answering for herself, when I read her comments I assumed TM referred to Team Manager, this being a quite common abbreviation. Mind you it could have been Tragic Moron!!! I'm sure Badge will enlighten us.

After 600 posts one would have thought that by now you would have grasped how to use the quote facility and avoided multiple posting. However on the bright side the full stop at the end of your piece shows that your punctuation is improving, so it's not all gloom and doom!!!!!

T.O.O.L  Is that enough full stops for you Mr Snackette, just one of the words that always pops into my mind when seeing one of your posts

Thank god Doolan was snapped up and won't be returning to Cumbrian Shores! Maybe you will finally get to DP next season or unless " something else crops up" and you don't show your face again

Always a delight to read another of your well constructed, insightful and erudite posts.

Remember I did get to DerWet Park, unfortunately the track was not fit for purpose. Let's hope that rumours of The Comets' demise have been grossly exaggerated, and I will have the opportunity to actually see some racing.

Mind you I do find it a little sad that you and others would prefer to comment on The Skipper's signing, rather than events at Worky. Interestingly this thread is now on its 26th page, whereas poor Worky can only manage a rather meagre five. Perhaps you find things more interesting in our neck of the woods, rather than the strikingly depressing events in Cumbria.

Still if it brings a little joy into your apparent humdrum existence, I along with all other Ipswich fans welcome you with open arms.

If you are doing a page count, Glasgow 4,Somerset 7,Redcar 7,Plymouth,Scunthorpe 5, etc, given that the situation with Workington Speedway running in 2012 is still in the balance i cannot see the point in waffle....

Regarding the Peter Kildemand issue it did get rather silly at the end of the season but was probably due to Speedway politics rather than Speedway.

Although it is nice to see well constructed sentences, i feel you are insulting peoples inteligence ( )i could if i wanted to spend all my free time correcting grammar and spelling on this forum. :)

Was not aware he was signing for Ipswich unless you know something everyone else dosen't Nick himself hadn't even decided were he was ending up next season

Neither was I.

However his name has been bandied about in connection with Ipswich 2012.

If you can find a post where I have stated that he plans to sign for Ipswich then I will appologise unreservedly. Of course if you can't, no doubt you will wish to correct your concocted implication

Jenga I have no idea who your Team Manager( ie TM) is/was at Worky

I must apologise I missed the / from between the word Promoter and TM, but to be honest I didn't realise you also don't know who the TM (get it Team Manager  ) is for your own team.

Thanks Mr S you were correct in your assumption of the initials.

Oi! I am no southern softie...not even got the heating on yet and when I did venture up country, I was the only one NOT moaning about the cold

Mind you, think the alcohol a certain Monarchs fan 'forced' me to drink may have had something to do with it

Ours is 5pages long purely because us Northerners dont speak as much garbage

We can all make it 26 pages if all you want to hear is will he sign? should he sign ? I want him ? Not him please ? Yawn , Yawn , Yawn. So no far from it things are not strikingly depressing at all up here in Cumbria, just wanted to express my gratitude that Doolan was (thankfully) staying at Ipswich :drink:
