I think this is one of the closest finishes of Elitserien in many many years,

Three teams; Elit Vetlanda, Valsarna and Hammarby are fighting for the two remaining positions in the playoffs. The three also happens to have the same amount of team points; 20

There rider point quota is also very similar so basically the teams that finishes 5th might just be a few hundreds from playoffs.

 

There are also 4! teams that are fighting to avoid place 9 which is means demotion to Allsvenskan.

Teams 5-8 will meet in a qualification series to avoid demotion to Allsvenskan; team 5 will meet team 8 and team 6 will meet team 7.

The winners of those are finished for the season while the losers will meet to decide which team that will join #9 to Allsvenskan.

mtg= number of completed meetings.

wrp= won rider points

lrp= lost rider points

rdr.pqt= rider points qouta which is wrp dividerd by lrp.

tmp= team points; 2p for victory, 1p for tied meetings and 1p for each aggregated bonus point.

Uh Oh! possible clash coming up for UK viewers who watch on Premier Sports. Sunday night's live Nascar meeting has been rained off and postponed until 4pm (BST) on Tuesday.

 

Presuming the internet streams are Swedish or Polish based they should be ok. However, any streams that use the UK coverage will likely see Nascar if that is given priority. Apparently Nascar gave the Premier Sports channel a big boost in subscriptions and i don't know how speedway fares head to head in that department.

 

Personally myself i want to watch Nascar live until it's end followed by delayed 'as live' coverage of the speedway straight after, or later in the evening. Another night when one needs an extra pair of eyes as i'll also be watching European Championship football matches at 4pm and 7pm onwards. So, on second thoughts i hope the speedway is 'as live' at 10pm lol.

 

Very grateful to have been able to watch Swedish speedway this season it's been hugely enjoyable.

Seems that there are some issued with Svemo's website has the lineups for the other two meetings are not displayed.

Teams had up until 22:00 (away team) and 23:00 (home) to register their line-up's for round 18, due to the two meetings being held on Sunday evening. Some teams may have registered them on normal time while other opted to use the full time available. That should be the reason they were unavailable last night.

just something to get you to start speculate, Jansusz Kolodziej have been spotted in Vetlanda today. Either he is replacing somebody or Vetlanda just brought him in as a backup in case any

of Vetlandas riders couldn't ride tomorrow. (dont know if or how many of EV riders that rides in England).

 

Then Sebastian Aldén says on his website that he is riding for Lejonen tomorrow, the question is just instead of who?

Not sure it will necessarily be universally frowned on as it gives those who work 9 to 5 a chance to stroll home leisurely and watch the meeting. Will have to hope the weather in Atlanta allows the Nascar to begin at it's scheduled time mind!

I'm not sure if people have seen Janusz himself or just his bus, because I haven't heard anything about Kolodziej stepping in tonight. Anyway, Hampel's bus was involved in an accident in Poland when leaving Leszno on Saturday night, so Team Hampel had to borrow a bus (Kolodziej's) to take him to Vetlanda for Sunday's meeting vs Lejonen. I think it's the old case of "I-have-seen-his-bus-so-he-must-be-in-town-to-sign-a-contract-rumour" which is frequent in guestbooks during "Silly Season".

Do you usually watch the feeds linked to by the Polish site or have you got saved Sopcast links? If the former and you are residing in the States i presume you don't have any issues in accessing that site? Over here (UK)it is possible that at least one ISP was blocking that site during the last SGP. Although it took me seconds to employ a stunningly simple workaround to access the site. They've no legal right to as it contains perfectly legal content and, as far as i am aware, doesn't actually host any feeds itself.

I am trying to see if Orange sport.pl are showing live-certainly not on the schedule for the main sports channel and at moment struggling to find channel Orange sport info to see if its on there.

Edit looks as if from sept 1st there is no longer info channel-so i don`t think match is live in Poland unfortunately.Surely there is someone somewhere who can stream from canal plus ?

you wouldn`t be that envious if you had to listen to Premier-you would be watching with the sound on mute !It`s wet here as well,i think you have sent us the tail end of your hurricane-its blowing a gale.upto 6.15pm i will keep checking for streams-and then will do a "likely lads" and do what i have to to not know any scores before Premier start at 8.15 pm
