incident between Schlein and G Laguta which carried on in the pits-sorry you missed it-you might catch it on u tube later

The guy in the black jacket bit of an idiot pulling Schlein's arm on the throttle causing the bike to shoot forward.

I can't actually see what Laguta did wrong.

Try facing the screen when you watch it next time.

I can't see what he did wrong either. Try taking your Aussie tinted specs off before you watch it next time. It's Speedway, not a knitting class. What's Laguta supposed to do, wave him by and watch him go?

I've watched it 3 times now and Laguta's riding falls into the "hard but fair" category. It is actually nice to see Rory getting fired up, because he now has his mojo wound up again and is riding with a passion and belief not shown in previous seasons.. BUT.. Laguta did nowt wrong.

Sure livened up a dull meeting though didn't it?

Regards. Alan.

Yeah, it did liven it up. As you say, hard but fair.

Got to agree with the majority good old fashioned hard racing and there is absolutely no arguement that if it was schlein in front he would`ve done exactly the same, End of...

There is a consensus between riders and in speedway racing, that turning right at those speeds which no brakes, is a no, no. Rory has no problem with fair hard riding but

when you turn right on someone, there is nowhere to go. Its a dangerous maneouvre, just ask anyone with a brain cell. Some people obviously like to see carnage than hard racing but some riders actually want to see their next race meeting.

I beg to disagree, andi, maybe you should ask him yourself rather than telling us what you think he would do.

Good to see someone with a clue posting on here; I'd suggest the armchair experts who support this sort of dangerous maneouvre may have never been within cooee of the saddle of a racing bike, or they'd never have made their statements.

Ah, the old you've never been on a bike argument. Classic. But wait, if they agree with you then they have a clue.

People have different opinions. Get over it.

People will always have different opinions, comrade - you stick up for your mates, and I'll stick up for mine.

PS You're up early - sleep well?

Slept great Dave, thanks. Early bird catches the worm and all that. I like to be at the office early to plan my day and avoid rush hour traffic.

Dave if you care to look again , at the finish coming out of bend 4 Laguta held his line as you would expect a rider leading but schleins actions exaggerated what was a close hard fair race IMO..As he was probably really p****d off to have lost out to Laguta!!
