MrMungo
Got told earlier that Oliver is riding for Workington tomorrow again now. Gonna be in a right state the Saints team tomorrow at this rate if Birks dont ride. Pretty sure he'll be at Scunthorpe tomorrow, "Superstar1". Scunthorpe will be REALLY short of riders otherwise. I hear Irving went to hospital today aswell. Hopefully it's nothing serious. Hopefully Adam Kirby will have a speedy recovery & hoping to see him on a bike soon. Congrats to Buxton on their fine win. IronScorpion
thank you montie. I was just stating that we will now suffer through the possibility of missing riders due to PL committments. Not just 1 riders but probably 2 or 3. Also, the double header meetings if a rider short we need to name a no8. Got caught out, again, today. Neil H
On going problems with knee and shoulder i think He did run wide on the exit of the fourth turn and hit the kickboard hard but seemed OK when he walked back to the pits. Adam's hand looked pretty bad when he took his glove off - thankfully he was able to walk away from a heavy crash. Track conditions really suited the Buxton team today and The Dean Machine was seriously delighted with his win over John Oliver in Heat
roguetrader
Iron scorpion was just quoteing something said on the updates, that hardly being disgruntled is it?? Montie i maybe a Stoke supporter but have great respect also for Scunthorpe and their approach to supporting British riders. I may have had cross wires about the rained off Newport fixture but Jayne Moss clearly said that Scunthorpe were also scheduled to be at Buxton yesterday the same as we are scheduled to be there on 11 Sept. It was a little dig at Stoke by Iron Scorpion which was incorrect information. But hey bring on the play offs!
squall
Sarjeant guested for Newcastle. Therefore, Newcastles number 6 (Newman) rode for Sheffield. Tigers won

IronScorpion
No dig just replying to a quote from the updates. They wont as the the other promotion will see to that,Just been told that stoke were asked to got to Buxton today instead of us as we didnt have a full team, stoke refused cos they didnt have lambert, yet could have had any guest!!!! I wonder why they would go!!!! i hope we get to the plays of stuff stoke if that the case Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Buxton&action=display&thread=8694&page=3#ixzz1WWOXbMRh
moosetash64
Thank you to all the people who wished adam kirby a speedy recovery after his crash on sunday. He has broken a bone in his right hand and his left hand has severe bruising and cuts to it. Adam is very disappointed with the way things turned out and feels as if he let the team down a bit by crashing out so early as he was really looking forward to riding for scunthorpe as a guest. He was very nervous before the meeting wondering if he was going to be on the pace but i think he proved in those first 2 bends that he was going to be!!! He is already talking about when he can get back on his bike and look for a team place next season (fingers crossed), maybe even with scunthorpe. Just hav to wait and see what happens between now and next season.
