DukesGreg
The past means nothing it is what is happening in the present that matters. This season he has amassed 8 maximums and averaged nearly 10 points without bonus points, and not far off 11 points with bonus points. That would suggested that Shane is riding pretty well around Sheffield this season, (forget what has happened in the past)and would also suggest that he is in with a very good chance of the title. Parker is riding MILES better than I expected him to.. and doing it with a smile. Fastest time of the season to v. Rye House in heat one last week.. flying indeed. DukesGreg
I would take Ashworth to score more than Shane.Don't think he will win it but it would be a fitting end to Shane's PL career if he did. Having watched them both race all this year, I'd back Parker to beat Ashworth 4 out of 5 times if such a thing could be set up. Can't wait for this meeting now. Hope the weather Gods stay with us. spin king junior
They meetings are in the past, they mean nothing. But they're more relevant to meetings that happened years ago
wjm
But they're more relevant to meetings that happened years ago But meetings in the past dont matter. I said "Parkers record in the PLRC is poor" it is, his season averages dont change that.

Yes, Parkers record in the PLRC is poor. Before this year his form round Sheffield wasn't the best. He now looks unbeatable around Owlerton. wjm
Kevin Doolan (Ipswich) Not having the best of seasons, and never seems to do that well at the PLRC,so I don't see him doing anything of great significance. Funnily enough for some strange reason Jason has never done that well in the PLRC even when he has had a good season, but in saying that a rider of Jason's class you would not rule him out. Yes, Parkers record in the PLRC is poor. Before this year his form round Sheffield wasn't the best. He now looks unbeatable around Owlerton. Only one idiot (not using Spinnys word on Facebook! ) cannot see what everyone is saying. Shanes PLRC record has naff all to do with his form around Sheffield this year. The other quoted riders haven't been riding at Sheffield all season so are no different to previous years.
screm
The rider who finishes infront of Parker wont be far away from winning the PLRC.

His PLRC record does have a wee bit to do with ......the PLRC. Its ok I know he is a Sheffield rider and Spinny and his wee bum buddies are a bit wanky ( no point not saying what you think) when a bad word is spoken about a Sheffield rider, but its a fact. His PLRC record is poor. No stat and average around Owlerton this year wil change that....unless he wins the PLRC. Paulco
Really hope that Ashworth or Parker win it, the The "HOME TRACK ADVANTAGE" brigade, will have a field day Everybody knows Sheffield is the spiritual home of the PLRC and that's where it should be . If a home track rider wins , then so be it . Personally i think Shane will win it .
