Massey Harris
Pmsl... The word coming from Newport is he was genuinely ill yesterday and wasn't feeling the best Saturday at newport either, when he was offered heat 15 but turned it down because he felt worse for wear, and felt a lot worse yesterday. Best you call them smartish and tell them to get their stories straight because Gjedde told the Paramedic it was his shoulder he couldn't move then once he was signed out loaded his bikes up using the same shoulder! What I really want to know is how Newport knew earlier on in the week that he wouldn't complete the meeting
Arson fire
Pmsl... A one track pony. You don't average over ten from 25 meetings being a one track pony And of course he'll be at berwick in a few weeks time The word coming from Newport is he was genuinely ill yesterday and wasn't feeling the best Saturday at newport either, when he was offered heat 15 but turned it down because he felt worse for wear, and felt a lot worse yesterday. Still, don't let facts get in the way of you slating him now.... Just glad we got him on such a low average because your promotion were too thick to see what he was up to, I mean that's why you hate him isn't it?! From the outside looking in...no matter how good he is for Newport etc...you have to admit, some of his conduct and the way he has carried himself this season leaves a lot to be desired.. Yet you defend him to the hilt?? Does he have any morals??
Halifaxtiger
They are also very very far and few between. You totally miss my point, Im talking about the people, the atmosphere..........the whole feel. Its horrible. Even by that standard, its better than Leicester because they are all rubbish there. We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one, because I thought it was quite the opposite.
W9 Lion
I bet on Frampton, not like me to be controversial lol! Must say great turn out from the Leicester fans, will try and visit there track next year I think Thanks - 28 years of waiting to have a rider in a big individual event, and Nemo did us proud! Chuffed for him, the Guv Attwood and all the traveling fans from BP.
ciderman
Great stadium and facilities (Roast Pork Sarnies to die for), but Oh dear the racing was diabolical, 4 passes I counted in the meeting! Gate 4 a graveyard! Strung out riders. Is that the norm now at Sheffield? Always looked forward to watching racing there, but that has to be the worst meeting I've ever seen there! Was really looking forward to it to! Maybe the proposed new Belle Vue would be a better choice next yr, a neutral track and pretty central. Not a good advert for the best in the PL
tigerblues
Oh dear the racing was diabolical, 4 passes I counted in the meeting! Gate 4 a graveyard! Strung out riders. Is that the norm now at Sheffield? Most definitely not, thank god though because if it was I wouldn't go every week! For some reason the track was appalling. The forecast we were told was spot on so that's no excuse but in any case we've had more rain than we had yesterday in past meetings yet managed to prepare a decent track. It was shocking. bigeddiechek
He goes with his Dad so he can hold his hand Here is something for you to test out your theory that WJM is not liked by other fans: come round and meet him on Saturday. Speak to him, speak to the several groups of fans that know him. Whilst there I'd be interested to know why you have turned so "bitter" against Berwick, you haven't always been like this. Hmmmmmmmmm. One thing is for certain, we were stung by Gjedde as Sarah says, he did not conduct himself in a gentlemanly manner at Berwick, and most fans that I know still have a bad taste about that. He's blackened his reputation irreparably, and even more so at the PLRC. We will defend our opinions in person, which is why we are open about who we are and will happily meet in person to discuss. Most people that we have jousted with on here have come and met us and we all get on well. There are only a couple of notable ones who haven't. One in particular walks past us every week looking in the region of his toes Come round, and I can furnish you with the full details of my illustrious sporting career. You will leave feeling honoured to have been in my presence.
Normski
I bet on Joe Screen and look where that got me! He was utter trash and didn't look interested. Shame for the Glasgow fans who made the long journey down. took gjedde in sweep on berwick bus what a waste of a £1 that was
Bandits4eva
At last... A half decent post from a berwick (or should I say rye) fan I'll see you on 22nd October sunshine Lol...you were. Hey... I hold my hands up and admit it... but Gjedde is only showing now what I was bleating on aboot..

Stood in my usual away spot, about 30 metres away from his monthly occasional spot, and never seen him yet. People should knock this 'say that to my face' lark on the head, as it just makes them look stupid. The SAINT
I forgot to Thank you for posting about this. Saved us a lot of time queuing and waiting to get out of the Car Park and will be useful for future years. Thanks very much. my pleasure ps/ also saved you 2quid (btw the car park price EVERY week not just yesterdays captive audience - the speedway promotion have no say on the car park and, indeed, subtly advise us to park elsewhere!) TFI THURSDAY
For those of you that thought the meeting yesterday was terrible and all gate and go then its a good job you aren't at Glasgow at the moment. Glasgow v Sheffield upto heat 7 every race is from the gate and has been won by gate 4.

Tsunami
Agree with you,oh by the way see you on sunday in your usual spot. Sadly not screm, as me and wor lass are off on another cruise. We are driving straight up from Gatwick to Brough on the 16th, when you are also there, so we might see you about midmeeting, a little knackered. If there are any potential burglars out there, the ginga youngin and partner will still be living there. People should knock this 'say that to my face' lark on the head, as it just makes them look stupid. Why? I've met loads of people whom I have both agreed and disagreed with on here. Without exception it has been a very pleasant experience. Even Taffy and I hold conversations face-to-face, and we both say in person far worse to each other than we give on here! Some folk either take this forum too seriously, or use it to live an alternate life. I feel sorry for poor WJM as he appears to have a few stalkers at Shielfield.
