21st century heathen
I think i would have picked Hughes as favourite but don't think he will be fit & cheers for confirming what I thought. Sticking with Allott then, to be different, and no prob.

Jayne
coming down to this and usually look forward to the fish and chips but they werent to good last time so we are going to try the pub for grub and vimto next to the stadium.anyone know if its any good in there Food is usually very good and fairly cheap but the pub is very popular especially on a nice sunny day and you may have to wait a while. There is also a nice chippy in the row of shops just before you get to the stadium. Edited September 2, 2011 by Jayne
crazysue
Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the updates site? If so, could you please either leave a message here or send me an email or pm. Thanks Sue

kevtheslice
Taking my 5 year old son tonight, he is used to team meetings rather than individual events so looking forward to seeing all four racing against each other rather than team riding. I've not got much of an idea what the riders are like at this level and reading thread has made me more excited. Son is looking forward to his massive box of chips!! CrystalCastles
Congratulations to Jason Garrity on becoming the NLRC in 2011. Coming through to win what was a hugely competitive meeting.
Rob B
Belle Vue 1-2. Jason Garrity first, Kyle Howarth second
21st century heathen
Dammit!! I'm gutted. (well done Jason ) At least I successfully jinxed Adam. (serves you right for the comments on the podium after the Golden Hammer ) Shame Ash, Simon and Richie appear to have blown their shot at a place on the podium with one bad ride on an otherwise decent night. Biggest shock must be Bazza with just 1.

junior fan
Think you forgot about Branford, deafeated all the top three only to have a costly E/F. Looks like he could have won it. Junior
21st century heathen
Okay OKAY so they were all good but had one bad ride!!
kevtheslice
Well deserved victory, if had not been crowded out on first corner in his first heat Garrity would probably have gone on to win all 5 of his races. Very close though all night with four riders on 9 points going into last round of heats and race off needed for 3rd place. Hackney boys had a poor night, particularly on one of their home tracks. Son enjoyed his chips too!!
chopper
Well done to JG, and all the other placegetters. Sounds like he kept his cool , while others were dropping points, but hes a cool dude. Gutted that Robert lost a rear chain that could have cost him the meeting, but thats motorsport for you. I think it shows what a great product the National league is and long may it continue. Chopper
BigFatDave
Bodes well for the Darren and Sharon Boocock Scholarship Tour later this year with Howarth, the Worrall Twins and Morris all scoring well.
21st century heathen
Son enjoyed his chips too!! At least you rescued something from your night then. I think it shows what a great product the National league is and long may it continue. It's an 'enjoy it while it lasts' year in my opinion. The NL is really strong this season but I think we could lose quite a few to the PL next season, though I admit I haven't truly analysed the latest averages. No doubt it can be strong again in future but not next year - IMO.

There were some handy riders that werent there tonight, and as some move on hopefully others will step up. Chopper
