gary moore
There has been some pretty good racing tonight but as usual with the Polish rounds it could have been so much better with a bit more dirt down, such a shame. And a pair of unbiased non shouting commentators would help too???
dorset delight
I think it's safe to say Darcy is ready
king billy j
Enjoyed that gp. Well done to hampel and aj who are in great form and a special well done to darcy. He proved he is ready tonight

george.m
I think it's safe to say Darcy is ready Undoubtedly and he'd be a breath of fresh air. In fact I think it's time for a clear out and bring in fresh blood. Pedersen and Crump won't win it again, time to freshen things up! manchesterpaul
Very relieved to see the surrounding bad weather stay away and the only thunderous action was on the track. Yet another great GP in the books. I remember saying the other week Hancock's 'massive' lead only needed around 5 points a meeting to be overhauled. However, i think Hampel really needed the additional 2 points for a win which he lost in the re-run.
mothorsen
Great fun this one aswell. Loads of good fighting on the track. The "Russian Rocket" caught me by surprise also, but I guess Gollob din't see him coming either . Glad to see it worked out well. Ward did good, It's a pleasure to have Zorro in the game, I'm pleased to see Lindbäck doing well, and last but not least Holta making it to the semis. If the remaining GP's are as good as the last two, I'll be a very happy man.
Steve Shovlar
Big well done to Darky. First GP and not far off winning it. Certainly should be a wild card next year and will do well. Fairly average GP though with only a smattering of good races.
Marmite
Strange watching without bike noise and Pearson and Tatum sounding like they're in the toilet. Biggest cheer of the night across the speedway community watching TV was when Pearson and Tatum lost their mikes and we just watch blissfully with the noise of the bikes and the crowd, love it. Because he repeated them so often I lost count of how many mentions by Pearson it was Darcy's debut, and how many 'it's all very tight' during the racing, I counted at least two in once race. engineman
Although not really a Darcy fan, he did do very well, and outshone his mate. He's plenty good enough to compete at this level and would add excitement to the GPs. Nice to see AJ and Hampel scoring well- they've both had their difficult years in the past, but sad to see Harris have his worst GP ever. It looks like the end of the GP road for him, and with no other credible Brit at present, a bleak few years ahead for British speedway. Unfortunately it has been like this before many times, it's not really a new thing for British speedway but the GP system highlights the problem. In the old one-off final, there were many times the sole Brit scored just 5 or 6 points. It used to be compensation that we had the strongest league in the World, but we can't say that now , can we? ImpartialOne
Your link works ok-thats not what we are on about-we are saying soccer live.pl has been forcibly removed. I know but it sounded like people were struggling to find a stream.
ImpartialOne
I think it's safe to say Darcy is ready They have to put him in next year. With Bjarne and Protesiewicz coming in we need some exciement to balance it up. Very impressive tonight, especially heat 12. I didn't think there was room down that back straight but he made it and showed 2 world champions how it's done Edited August 27, 2011 by ImpartialOne
nbaynes
I must confess to being a bomber fan, no least because he is the only brit and am therefore undeniably biased. However, I cant help but feel that the rest of the gp field are riding far quicker bikes. Is this a fair observation.
Phlipphlopp
I know but it sounded like people were struggling to find a stream. I found a great stream...Sky Sports , which i pay for . Why other tight arses should be able watch it without subscribing needs tackling , and the uploaders jailed .
speedibee
I wish we could have seen some of Tomasz Gollob 1997 in one particular race .
