http://polrail.com/sections/travel/timetable.html for train times.

There are plenty of trains to Torun during the day. The stadium is a cab ride from the centre of town. Torun is lovely though and I'd recommend an early arrival to sample the city.

Post GP there are trains at 23:05, 00:50, 02:08, 02:42 then 05:22 between Torun Glowny and Bydgoszcz Glowna.

Rico

Just agreeing with a previous post - went to Torun 3 times last year (for Torun v Gorzow in Extraliga, the GP, then after watching Man City at Lech Poznan). You'll have a great time, plenty of bars, places to eat, culture, great atmosphere - enjoy. :)

I went to this gp last time was amazing we got wizz air flight to poznan out from luton and ryan air back to bristol as i live in live in plymouth..stayed in poznan right on the square this was my 3rd time in poznan plenty of bars and outside eating ..lake malta is close by with a great shopping centre...we then took a train on the day of the meeting to torun for a 1 night stay after the gp and returned to poznan for a couple of nights.. train takes about 2 hours easy to book at poznan glowny about 6 pounds...

tickets were bookable about 8 weeks prior to the meeting so get on the net early keep checking daily.. i think as long as you book tickets on the day you will be fine.. i thought this gp was better than bydgoczc.(spelling)..i can recommend the brovaria hotel which is fantastic with its own brewery about 65-80 per night or if not the ibis poznan centrum which can be booked on the web for less than £30 per night for the room with 24 hour bar access and about 2mins tram or 10 mins walk to the square. enjoy

Best of luck with getting tickets, I've been trying since 11pm last night, the website is up and down like the proverbial, I think I've managed to purchase some but with such a flaky site I'm not 100% sure.

I am getting nowhere!!

This is the site. www.unibax.kupbilety.pl
