ImpartialOne
Emil was one of the BSI picks for the season in 2009 after his two victories in the u21s. He had failed to get through the GP qualifiers in 2008. It makes no difference, he's missed the point. The question was, was Darcy Ward's performance the best GP debut (since Martin Dugard, but we'll ignore that as it's not fact). Nothing about wild cards was mentioned. JCookie
Top performance from Ward it must be said, he didn't seem fazed by it at all. As for talking about debuts in GPs, Emil's was very good but Ward's was equally as good if not better IMO, to come in half-way through a GP season and beat some of those riders in the way he did was incredible. The White Knight
Just finished watching this. Well Done A.J. miles faster than anyone else. Hope Greg can improve in the next GP.
Pollyanna
Emil's was better and he was 19 as well (younger I believe) but lets not take away how good Darcy's debut was tonight. I certainly hope we see him in the series next year! The race with Ward, Hancock and Gollob was fantastic as was Ward's battle with Sayfutdinov. Emil was slightly older when he made his debut in 2009. He was 20 years old in October of that year. Darcy is 19 and won't be 20 until May 2012 Both Emil and Darcy did well in their first GP. hardtobeat
Was he not racing on his "home track ?" ... because if thats the case lets have one at Monmore & then Freddie can slaughter the opposition as well an look good It was Darcy's home track last year, but if I'm correct, hes been loaned out this year to Gdansk...? Did annoy me when Pearson kept shouting about it being his home track when it isnt this season
mothorsen
Home track, shmome track... It's a small advantage. Holder and Holta has Torun as home track.
rjs200
I've just again clicked on your last link and it results in a BT message saying "Sorry, the website soccer-live.pl cannot be found" I presume you are also in England? My ISP is BT is yours different? Are you saying you are in ENgland and can right now click on the 'site' link (not the stream link)and you can access the site? Also, did you see the post where i clarified that the 'site' link you gave is the one not coming up, but your Sopcast feed would not necessarily disappear because of that. I'm watching on Sky TV and doing half a dozen other things so i can't check any earlier links you gave. I have a horrible feeling that BT ISP are now intercepting these kinds of 'pirate' sites and making them unavailable- as they will be doing with torrent database sites in the upcoming future (major judgement passed a month or so ago). There is nothing on the internet to indicate that 'soccerlive' is down: but I get the BT 'unavailable' message myself.

manchesterpaul
I have a horrible feeling that BT ISP are now intercepting these kinds of 'pirate' sites and making them unavailable- as they will be doing with torrent database sites in the upcoming future (major judgement passed a month or so ago). There is nothing on the internet to indicate that 'soccerlive' is down: but I get the BT 'unavailable' message myself. Duhhhhh! i did say i was busy which is why i totally forgot to do the first thing i usually do when not able to connect to a site, namely go to http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ It's a simple plain page (like Google used to be) and you simply enter the address in. It's saved me a lot of investigating and running tests when i can see that others are having the same problem connecting. UPDATE Just entered the address in the 'down for everyone or just me' site and....it returned 'just you' I haven't got time right now but i'll run (or someone else can in the meantime) a few tests and applications on it. I'll start off with basic Tracert, Ping and URL Sniffer programmes. Like i said at the time i was watching on Sky itself, if i hadn't been i would have run a few tests etc and tried to access it in the 'ununsual' ways that one can. UPDATING THE BLUE BIT LOL Ok i didn't need to run any tests. I simply ran one of the 'blindingly obvious with a little thought' ways to access the site and instant full access. I see there are plenty of very high quality streams indeed on that site now. I know that internet streams are plentiful in the highest quality range now but i hadn't realised that site too had them on board. It's a while since i used that site but i'm sure it must have content that isn't unofficial sports streams and therefore the ISP are preventing people accessing a legal site. Plus, of course it doesn't actually host any illegal streams itself. It merely publishes known information in the public domain. As far as i'm aware no pan-european law has been introduced (as in operating right now live) recently to make such sites illegal to either operate or access. The rightsholders are free to (try) and chase down whoever is streaming their product but.......leave it there no point using up a GP thread on something that will digress enormously.
