What could be improved?

Irving and the Worralls cracking job as heat-leaders.

Birks superb wont find a better number 5 in the league.

Adam and Stefan 2 Superb youngsters and be hard to find any 2 reserves better on there home track then them 2.

Smethills just joined the squad and doing a good job and Oliver's average wouldnt fit in his place anyway.

wouldnt like to hazard a guess to be honest but i cant see him riding at Buxton. MrMungo might be able to answer better then me.

He's healing well. I honestly had never seen so many cuts, bruises and general redness on a human body before as I saw on Sunday.

Just taking it one day at a time.. The foot and wrist injury is worst at the moment.

The 7 rule will probably (not 100% sure) rule him out at Buxton even if he did want to ride, anyway.

Bank Holiday Monday at home looks more likely.

With Sheffield now racing at Newcaslte on Sunday i hope he is fit,as that takes out Birks,Richie and if Stefan is out also will be a depleted team taking to the track on Sunday

That may be a reason for the new signing then?

With lots of extra PL meetings being slotted in at this time of the year, there may be a few occasions when the Worralls, Birks or Irving may be unavailable.

So, John has signed for Scunthorpe and makes his debut this weekend.

Who is he replacing? Or are they just adding another rider to their "squad"

Interesting news about Oliver indeed.

So i presume the saints team will look something like these over next sunday and monday.

Sunday

Irving

R/R

Steve

Smethills

Oliver

Wrathall

Someone else (If Stefan is ruled out)

Monday

R/R

Smethills

Steve

Oliver

Birks

Wrathall

Nielsen (Hopefully)

Still two quality line-ups in my opinion and capable of getting all the points.

It's been the case for a while, Vog. Nothing ridiculous about it, just an awesome NL team, IMO.

Scunthorpe/Sheffield have just been using a reserve instead of Cooper (on most occasions) for a while now. It's made them seem "weaker" than they actually are.

I know, but they have replaced Greg Blair and Paul Cooper with JLo and Smethills. The only saving grace, if you want to call it that, is that there is very little chance of that team all riding at the same time due to PL commitments.

Blair has retired, and Cooper, I am not sure about. Think he's taking a break from the sport or something similar.

I don't think there's a great deal of difference with the team changes. It just gives Scunthorpe/Sheffield a full side again, which is good to see.

Not a huge fan of R/R at this level, but it's occured quite often with some many riders having PL commitments.
