Elitserien Round 16

Round 16

Dackarna - Västervik

Live scores.

Dackarna

  1. Andreas Jonsson
  2. Hans Andersen
  3. Rune Holta
  4. Artur Mroczka
  5. Fredrik Lindgren
  6. Daniel King
  7. Joel Larsson

Västervik

  1. Sebastian Ulamek
  2. Rafal Okoniewski
  3. Chris Harris
  4. Nikolai Klindt
  5. Peter Ljung
  6. Pontus Aspgren
  7. Travis Mcgowan

This is a do or die meeting for both teams. The team that looses will be one step closer

to Allsvenskan. Both teams especially Dackarna are therefore under very heavy pressure.

Personally i think that if Västervik can get an initial advantage they can put most of the pressure

on Dackarna and in that way sneak away with the win.

Remember that Dackarna probably have on the biggest rider budget but still finds themselves in last place.

Hamamrby - Vargarna

Live scores.

Hammarby

  1. Grzegorz Walasek
  2. Robert Kosiecha
  3. Tomasz Gollob
  4. Andrej Karpov
  5. Rory Schlein
  6. Magnus Zetterström
  7. Henrik Karlsson

Vargarna

  1. Lee Richardson
  2. Michael Jepsen Jensen
  3. Adrian Miedzinski
  4. Maksims Bogdanovs
  5. Nicki Pedersen
  6. Eric Andersson
  7. Kim Nilsson

Another interesting meeting. Hammarby is fighting to maintain their position within the top 4 teams

while Vargarna is fighting to avaoid last place. Before the season it was expected that the roles would be

the opposite, Vargarna fighting for the gold and Hammarby to avoid relagation. Its also a meeting between the team with

one of the longest tracks in Sweden (Hammarby, Gubbängen length is 387m) vs. Vargarna (Kråkvilan length is 279m)

Vargarna have improved slightly in the last couple of meetings. But Hammarby has shown this season that they are a very

hood team when riding at home. In this meeting i think they are favourites as well. Even if Nicki have been riding very well i

Elitserien this season and even if he and Kim Nilsson knows the track very well (as they have ridden for Hammarby) Vargarna will

have a very hard time at Gubbängen. For Vargarna Maksim Bogdanovs is back into the team while Kasper is still banned.

For Hammarby Zorro will find that his riding have earned himself the nr 6 position. Which of course is a strength to the team.

And i think that this might very well be the decisive factor for a Hammarby win.

Then onto this weeks tv meeting

Lejonen vs. Indianerna

Live scores.

Lejonen

  1. Troy Batchelor
  2. Mikael Max
  3. Chris Holder
  4. Kenneth Bjerre
  5. Darcy Ward
  6. Dennis Andersson
  7. Mathias Thörnblom

Indianerna

  1. Bjarne Pedersen
  2. Niels-Kristian Iversen
  3. Piotr Protasiewicz
  4. Joonas Kylmäkorpi
  5. Ryan Sullivan
  6. Antonio Lindbäck
  7. Simon Gustafsson

First it will be interesting to see if Holder will show up or if he is "injured" again.

Anyway with or without him Lejonen will have to bring out their best skill if they want to avoid

getting their scalps taken. Indianerna have only lost two meetings this season and only one meeting since mid may.

Lejonen well they have and have had to deal with the reality that has got hold of them and they have only

managed to win 5 meetings this season. If Holder doesn't show i think that Lejonen will have a difficult task to

win against the series winner.

Indianerna has as mentioned only lost two meetings this season (away against Västervik in May and against Hammarby two weeks ago)

Antonio and Iversen switches places. Antonio showed very good form two days ago in Vetlanda and if he continues like this the Rio Rocket won't

let Lejonen see anything more then "6" that rockets away from them. Also have in mind that out of Indianerna's 7 riders, 5 rode in Saturday's

Grand Prix Challenge and 3 of them finished 1,2 & 3. So Indianerna looks glowing hot and seems to ride by the motto

"Don't stop mr now coz's i having a good time...", while the form of Lejonen is uncertain.

The final meeting this round is

Piraterna vs. Valsarna

Live scores.

Piraterna

  1. Greg Hancock
  2. Linus Sundström
  3. Jonas Davidsson
  4. Daniel Davidsson
  5. Maciej Janowski
  6. Przemyslaw Pawlicki
  7. Piotr Pawlicki

Valsarna

  1. Grigory Laguta
  2. Artem Laguta
  3. Tomas Gapinski
  4. Krzysztof Buczkowski
  5. Daniel Nermark
  6. Scott Nicholls
  7. Ludvig Lindgren

Both teams are fighting for the safe ground in the top 4. Piraterna is currently 2nd 2p ahead of Valsarna in 5th.

Piraterna is normally quite stable at home, having only lost at home to Indianerna last week and Lejonen in the second round.

But Valsarna have done a good season so far and even if i think that Piraterna will win i think it will be pretty close.

For Piraterna several of their riders have to do better then last week if they are to bring home the victory. Pz Pawlicki joins brother

Pt Pawlicki at reserve.´

The Wife & I are off to Gislaved as Crumpie and Vetlanda dont have a meeting. This is the last meeting of our Swedish Speedway tour which has included 2 meetings at Vetlanda a meeting at Kumla a GP at Mallila and a meeting at Nassjo. I can't belive ive seen 2 meetings at Vetlanda without any rain, Ive had 3 rain offs in the past here & this has been the most successfull Swedish tour ever for speedway as it has rained nearly every day we've been here.

This seems to be confined to Polish IP adresses only unfortunately.

Regards. Alan

Yes that'a what I found. I have watched the speedway on Orange Sport info, by clicking a link that was on here. Perhaps they have started screening for Polish IPs recently. Finding a stream now the football season has started is proving difficult to say the least.

Fall is approaching fast here in the UK

Till late Sept. it's usually a "hottie" here. Watch the US Open tennis next week and there is usually a steambath few days. After all these years it still gets to me. We had one day here in July when it was 107F. Thank god for air conditioning. Other than it being the end of the speedway season, i love "The Fall' or Autumn as i still call it!
