spook
The Poles have three GP and a quarter of the field are Polish, so they should stop being so greedy. Will be good to see how Darcy copes in a GP situation before his inevitable seeding for 2012. I don't see it as inevitable at all..... rightly or wrongly history tells us that Aussies are only allowed one in the door when one leaves.... unless they qualify really pleased Darcy gets his chance and IMG break the way they dish out the 16th berth ........... understand the Poles not liking being the start of it but with 4 riders and a probable packed house already it is a smart move

There's no better prospect to be put in,he deserves it and would be a great asset to the series Stuff the Poles, they get enough, weather it be GPs or WTC or whatever

Not talking about other countries... why are you? Yes there were 4 on the go but the field was also a lot bigger then..... and like you said they werent replaced to the point where BSI/IMG were quite happy for Leigh and Jason to represent........... even the Russians have 2 now
LINGO
May b they should scrap one polish GP and hav one in AUS or just add a few more rounds and venues on (not in poland)

Trees
Good on yer Darcy dont see why the poles are un happy after all is is three of the Gps are held out there it would be a bit unfair if it meant that the poles were used as wild cards for all of them. Depends how much these GPs cost the Poles.

You, i.e. Britain can have as many as you wish (or can afford) so why don't you have more than one Cardiff? Who is stopping you ? Answer me this, please. As for a quarter of the field being Polish, again, who is stopping you having more riders than one Harris? Who, or what is stopping you having riders who are winning SWC three times in a row. Answer me, and yourself this, please
Bagpuss
We only have Harris because nobody else is good enough. It's debatable that even Bomber is good enough to be honest. I have no idea why we only have one GP here, my guess would be that its financial. However my point has nothing to do with Britain.....Poland have 4 representatives because they deserve to and although I don't agree with 3 GP in one country it makes some kind of sense because they are guaranteed full stadia. All I'm saying is that with four Poles on show in each GP is that not enough? The authorities want to see how Darcy copes in the GP environment so it makes sense to give him a go in a country that has 3 GP and already has 4 GP riders. To get all shirty at not having 5/16 Poles seems a bit silly.

Daniel Smith
To be fair to the Poles this GP is billed as the 'FIM Torun Speedway Grand Prix of Poland' as is 'FIM Gorzow Speedway Grand Prix of Poland' I think, if they want non nationals allocated to GP's the naming of a GP is important. Maybe go with 'FIM Continental Speedway Grand Prix' or something similar. We have Scandinavian, European & Nordic so a Continental GP would be more accurate to allow an Aussie, American, New Zealand, African rider into a GP
