Anders
Not quite as comprehensive as usual, but I have problems to find the time at the moment. August is one heck of a month this season... ELITSERIEN ROUND 14 Tuesday August 9th 2011 ELIT VETLANDA - VARGARNA at Vetlanda Motorstadion Despite winning three straight meeting, Elit Vetlanda change the line-up to include Janusz Kolodziej and Pawel Hlib instead of Martin Vaculik and Patrick Hougaard. Vargarna comes to Vetlanda with their top heavy version of line-up, similar to what Elit Vetlanda opted for this week. Elit Vetlanda (home) (38) 1. Janusz Kolodziej 2. Peter Karlsson 3. Jaroslaw Hampel 4. Thomas H Jonasson 5. Jason Crump 6. Pawel Hlib 7. Jacob Thorssell Vargarna (away) (40) 1. Lee Richardson 2. Adrian Miedzinski 3. Nicki Pedersen 4. Tai Woffinden 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6. Viktor Bergström 7. Kim Nilsson *-*-* HAMMARBY - INDIANERNA at Gubbängen's IP, Stockholm Despite snatching the aggregated point from Elit Vetlanda, Hammarby have chosen to re-shuffle their line-up, and replacing Henrik Karlsson with Freddy Godlund at the junior position. Indianerna comes with the expected seven riders, keeping Grzegorz Zengota out of the line-up. Hammarby (home) (35) 1. Grzegorz Walasek 2. Rory Schlein 3. Tomasz Gollob 4. Norbert Kosciuch 5. Antonio Lindbäck 7. Simon Gustafsson *-*-* LEJONEN - VÄSTERVIK at NTEX Arena, Gislaved The Lions comes with one of their strongest line-ups for the season, but with the top six rider all in the line-up, Dennis Andersson won't fit under the maximum average limit. Oliver Berntzon takes the junior position. For Västervik, Sebastian Ulamek has been scratched after a couple of below par performances, with Travis McGowan making his season debut at reserve. Lejonen (home) (36) 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Mikael Max 3. Chris Holder 4. Kenneth Bjerre 5. Darcy Ward 6. David Ruud 7. Oliver Berntzon Västervik (away) (54) 1. Rafal Okoniewski 2. Tomasz Jedrzejak 3. Chris Harris 4. Nicolai Klindt 5. Peter Ljung 6. Pontus Aspgren 7. Travis McGowan *-*-* VALSARNA - DACKARNA at Tallhult's Motorstadion Four places seperates them in the standing, but it's still a crucial meeting which could pull them closer together, or making Valsarna a prime candidate for Play Off. However, they'll have to do it without Artem Laguta, still injured. Dackarna also have a Grand Prix rider on the injury list, namely Fredrik Lindgren. They also miss Jurica Pavlic but will use the R/R facility to cover the injured Croatian. Valsarna (home) (47) 1. Grigory Laguta 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski 3. Tomasz Gapinski 4. Dave Watt 5. Daniel Nermark 6. Ludvig Lindgren 7. Scott Nicholls Dackarna (away) (43) 1. Rune Holta 2. Jurica Pavlic R/R 3. Andreas Jonsson 4. Artur Mroczka 5. Hans Andersen 6. Daniel King 7. Anders Mellgren *-*-* CURRENT STANDING: 1. Indianerna, 12, 11-0-1, 4/4, 26p (+124) 2. Piraterna, 12, 8-1-3, 2/4, 19p (+58) 3. Hammarby, 11, 6-0-5, 3/3, 15p (-4) 4. Elit Vetlanda, 12, 6-0-6, 2/4, 14p (+41) ---------------------------------------------------------------- 5. Valsarna, 11, 5-1-5, 1/3, 12p (-20) 6. Lejonen, 11, 4-0-7, 2/3, 10p (-83) 7. Västervik, 12, 4-0-8, 1/4, 9p (-56) 8. Vargarna, 11, 4-0-7, 0/3, 8p (-31) ---------------------------------------------------------------- 9. Boris41
I don't think the track is conducive to exciting racing as the bends/straights are too narrow and even when Lindback tried the cut back there wasn't the space. Good race by Zorro in heat 4! Surprisingly one sided affair so far but maybe it is what Indianerna need as it has been too easy so far and is the kick up the backside they need so as not to slip up in the playoffs!! You are dead right so far. The "gate and go" on this track has been mentioned before. Still, it's speedway and we love it. Regards. Alan. racers and royals
Premier sports are the pits !! cant keep the score correctly dont know the line-ups,they should read the forum and might have learnt that its R/R for Gollob.Gave them the benefit of the doubt in the first weeks of the coverage -but really they should be doing better by now. Regards. Alan. Not complaining, just an observation but riders need to adapt in order to make a race of it at least!! I hope Indianerna get there gating boots on. Urm, can someone explain to me why there is a scratch race in Heat 5?? I cannot understand the Polish commentators!!
