Ghostwalker
Thomas H Jonasson have been awarded the Wild Card for the Scandinavian GP in Målilla. Simon Gustafsson and Linus Sundstrom wil be track reserves. Althoughi am doubtful that Simon can participate due t o his injury and i would guess that Dennis Andersson will replace Simon if simon cant ride. http://speedwaygp.co...goes-wild-againThomas H Jonasson makes his second World Championship appearance of 2011 after being handed the wild card for the FIM Scandinavian Speedway Grand Prix at Swedish track Malilla on August 13. The Swedish international, who wears the famous No.16 race jacket, made his SGP bow at Malilla's G&B Arena last year and scored an impressive eight points. This is often enough to take a rider into the semi-finals of a Grand Prix, but he missed out by a point in a very competitive round. PHILIPRISING
RUSSIA'S Artem Laguta returns to Grand Prix action in Malilla next week having presumably acquired a visa and recovered from his recent hand injury.

Robbie B
I know it's in Sweden, but as it's the Scandinavian GP it's a shame that there's no room, for a rider from Finland or Norway, even at reseerve. I do hope that's the situation is different when the Nordic GP is raced, in Denmark. Edited August 6, 2011 by Robbie B

He might qualify for next year's SGP anyway from the GP Challenge in Sweden later this month. I want to see Joonas Kylmäkorpi in the SGP
Bavarian
No problems with a visa for him in Sweden, anyway. He's a regular competitor in the Swedish League.

I also think that its hard ,for those who pick the local wcs and reserves, to pick a rider drom Nor or Fin when Swe and Den have so many good riders. Joonas have been riding well this season but so has THJ. I wouldn't be surprised if he reached the semis . Norway only have Gunnestad and i dont think he'd be a suitable track reserve. Chris
Will taxi's/trains/buses likely to be available after the meeting as need to get back to Vimmerby?
Ghostwalker
no regular buses or trains that goes all the way to Vimmberby, however there is one that goes from Hultsfred to the track; Buss från Hultsfred Buss kommer att gå från campingen kl.15:00 den går via Kloster Gård och kommer att passera Valhalls busshållplats. Återresa kommer att bli 23:00 samt 01:15 Pris: 60:- enkel i have found a bus company that have a bus from Motala via Vimmerby, Although you probably have to book in advance, you could always contact them to see if there is room for you. Its about 220kr for the trip only, Buss från Motala-Linköping-Kisa-Vimmerby 17.00 Vimmerby Resecentrum Pris: Resa och ståplats 550 kr Enbart resa 220 kr Anmälan till: Godegårds Buss & Taxi AB Telefon: 0141-80011 godegardsbuss@telia.com then there is another one busscompany that offers travels from Gamleby via Västervik and Vimmerby, However for them the tickets is already included, Buss från Gamleby-Västervik-Vimmerby 15:10 Ernebergskolan P Gamleby 15:30 Simhallens P Västervik 16:15 Björkbacken Vimmerby Price: 600:-for trip and ticket. info@uknabusstrafik.nu Ukna Busstrafik AB Kasinge 590 96 Överum Tel. 0493-500 21 Fax. 0493-501 21 there is a taxi company in Hultsfred called Hultsfred Taxi AB Contactinformation, Hultsfred Taxi AB phonenumber: 0495-10222 and then one in Vimmerby; Vimmerby Taxi BC AB Västra Tullportsgatan 3 59837 Vimmerby Telefon: 0492-12020 Fax: 0492-12970 So a possible solution would be bus (bus option 1) from the track to Hultsfred and then a Taxi from Hultsfred to Vimmerby.
