iNikeAguero
Good performance MJJ. Not good enough for you to assume you should ride here very week but not bad enough to put you out of the U21 race. So a win win situation

T.N.T.
No suprises in the main scorers really so well done to the top three on getting 14 points from such a line up. Well Done to Joe Haines on 8 points and taking the scalps of Martin Vaculik and Patryk Dudek (both exceleent prospects) Was hoping to see Bartosz Zmarzlik higher up the score chart, but judging by the updates he certainly mixed it up a bit and should have scored more ...... If Vaculik goes to Poole .... Dudek to Swindon .... Pi Pawlicki to Bees .... Bart will do for WV2 please !!

Dark Horse
Have to say that was a good meeting, fair amount of good racing there, was actually surprised about MJJ all the hype and he was struggling, have to say one of the heats of the afternoon was ht 14 with Dennis and Darcy, think every Poole fan was hoping they would try to force each other off, a very bad crash in ht 6, hope Gustafsson is alright and the Ukrainian(or russian) Loktaev, as i thought Gustafsson could have been a spoiler. Joe Haines was the best of the Brits a pluky heat 8 ride and finished the afternoon with a good win over a fast chasing Vaculik. Shamek i dunno what he was doing when he fell, took him ages to get off the track and when he did he went down like he was shot from Close range. Have to say that Zmarzlik whilst at times out of control, looks like he can develop into a decent rider, but was wrongly excluded in ht 16, last lap he came clean under Dudek(who impressed me) didnt shove him wide and didnt touch him, dudek went down and Zmarzlik was excluded. However the 3 in the run off where the 3 better riders on show, bar Piotr Pawlicki, but its one more step towards a historic 3rd world u21 championship and 3rd consectutive year running for Darcy Ward
Steve Shovlar
Thought it was an entertaining meeting played out in front of a good crowd. The loss of Gustafsson made some heats very predictable near the end though. Agree that Zmarzlik was badly treated by the ref by excluding him. He made a clean pass and Dudek was caught on the hop and fell on his own. Some of the racing was top drawer though it was clear to see the gap in standards with the riders at the top to the youngsters at the other end. Suprise was Andersson who rode superbly all night to be joint leader after the first round. Janowski gave a good display and Darcy was Darcy. Thought he was soft on his team mate when they met and any other rider would not have been given the room to come back. Of the others, young Pawlicki was fast and smooth, Vaculik was very good on his first visit, MJJ was disappointing, expected much more. Hilarious moment of the meeting was when Shamek Pawlicki slid off under pressure from Andersson. Instead of jumping back on and gaining a point as there were only three riders, he pushed to the centre green, rolled around on the floor in a tantrum bashing his fist on his bike. If there had been a tree close by he would have ripped off a branch and hit his bike with it ala Cleese and Faulty Towers. Funny stuff. JCookie
I must say from the Polish streams i've seen MJJ hasn't come across so any sort of wonderkid. I have no doubt however that if he joined an EL side at reserve he'd clean up against most of the other reserves.

If there had been a tree close by he would have ripped off a branch and hit his bike with it ala Cleese and Faulty Towers. Funny stuff. Just got back. From an unbiased point of view, the meeting was actually very dull with very few good heats to speak of on the usual Poole track which was like a motorway, save for the thin strip of dirt 20cm from the fence. Young Pawlicki gave a good display, Older Pawlicki not so. Vaculik was very poor on his first Wimborne Road display in my opinion. Was expecting far more from him, as were the majority of the rest of the crowd of about 1,500. Same goes for Jepsen Jensen. A special hand to Janowski for bouncing back from his defeat by Burmeister on Friday to finish joint first on the day. Hilarious moment of the day ocurred during the mornings practice session. Darcy Ward came out for his first session and popped a few wheelies, did a bit of showing off and then promptly slid off on his first proper lap into the, quite excellent, FIM approved safety fence (provided by Avtar Sandhu and Coventry Speedway). D'oh, unlucky big head! Darcy capped a dull meeting off perfectly, by arrogantly dismissing his opposition on the rostrum, and announcing to all and sundry that he expected to win.
