Jez
Now that the date for the British GP has been confirmed can does anyone know when the dates for the other rounds are usually confirmed? I thought that it was normally October/November? Just wondering so that I can start looking at flights/hotels as been cheaper recently to do a foreign GP rather than travel to and stay over in Cardiff

Pirate Baz
Doing my Victor Meldrew again, but does anyone else find difficulty in getting the tickets they want from Ticketmaster? Â They push you towards booking online, but there is no facility for choosing a specific block, i.e. the one we had last year and every year. Price ranges yes but then you cannot be certain what the charge is for your particular block. If you reject those seats you start again and then get offered the same seats. Try to speak to somebody on the phone and get "Sorry but all our operators are busy. Pleas try later. You are about to be cut off."

cholden
I phoned them and eventually got to speak to someone - even she was confused that I couldn't pick where I wanted to sit. Anyway a 15 min phone call got me the seats I wanted so I'm happy! :-)
ImpartialOne
A two minute conversation at about 3pm on the day of the GP will get me the seats I want. Ie, anywhere I like for £25 each.
zquacks
I came back from hols on Monday evening and phoned ticketmaster, had to hold for quite a while but once through spoke to a very helpful lady who booked the exact seats I wanted. I found her more helpful than the seetickets lady I spoke to last year.
fullbore
How did you actually get out of the automated system and speak to someone? Â Niamh

Ie, anywhere I like for £25 each.  Yeah we did that, 29 quid each, and got seats right at the top of bends 3-4 in middle of beer-swilling/spilling, chanting, standing, fighting fans. Would have been ok if the missus weren't there. If we go next year will probably go for seats on top tier, above starting gate. Empty there. Then i think that the rest of the meetings will keep their dates from this year. Edited July 20, 2011 by Ghostwalker

True IO, but i'm a stubborn git, and have seen a lot worse on Highbury's North Bank, Swindon's Town End, and Millwall's old Den's Cold Blow Lane End. There needs to be better stewarding enforcement of drunken misbehaviour. Lucky there are about 20,000 empty seats.
BUDGIE
U14 was the limit to get around the top tier this year. U13 last year so it is shrinking back towards the corner every year! Plenty of stewards to stop you moving from U14 to the lower numbered U's that form the home straight! Not quite as simply as some make out! SCB
I've sat at various places all round the stadium and never been stopped yet. Maybe you look too guilty! Same here. I rarely sit in one place all meeting plus toilet and bar trips and the only time I ever get asked for a ticket is at the turnstile on the way in initially. Â Terenzano produces poor racing and doesn't sell out with only 4000 capacity. Id get rid of that GP and the one in Sweden that is often ruined by rain. Would save Prague as the Marketa is being redesigned so that could be better.

IMG don't seem to agree with you, Mark - Gothenberg, if they manage to placate the Weather Gods, is a ripper, right in the middle of town, and I've heard no complaints about Terenzano from my mates who were there recently, far from it. If my info is correct the Italian GP is on a one year rolling contract so it could be at either venues in Italy I would suppose it will be who comes with the most money as to where it is staged
