ImpartialOne
I honestly think we will struggle to win a race tonight. The team need to look at it as a learning exercise, keep their eyes and ears open, watch what the top boys are doing. As long as they get 25 second places it's good enough! I think they will surprise a few tonight and will qualify.
flyin rocket
Why? Whats Stead done to warrant a place? At least Barker has about 6 or 7 years before he's Steads age by which time he may be a SWC regular. Look at what the Danes did when Stekkers took over, dumped the old guard and brought in the kids - they went on to be a bloody good force for a few years - still are. They'll probably need to rebuild soon though. Just listening to what the All conquering Speedway Guru - Kelvin Tattum was saying on SKY last monday!!! williamfj
Britain will do quite well to get third in my opinion while the Aussies & Swedes fight for first place.

Surely they were watching 'the top boys' on monday night !! i expect harris on his own to win 2 or 3 races tonight !!
oldtimer
The track will be super slick which is no good for Harris and don't expect him to win a race.
oldtimer
That's it then. He can't possibly ride for Britain. Just be grateful he's on our side. We'd be stuffed without him and that's a fact. We are stuffed anyway, an embarressment tonight when we finish 4th.
Dogstar
We are stuffed anyway, an embarressment tonight when we finish 4th. I think the Boys will try their best, but I agree that 4th place is my expectation for tonight. No chance against the Swedes and Aussies and even those Ruskies look strong. Ah well... there's always next year.

Pinny
England have no chance of going through. England? Don't you mean Great Britain? Really pisses me off when the team is actually called Great Britain yet because it only contains English riders, people call them England. Yet if a Welsh or Scottish rider ever made it into the side (highly doubtful) they would all of a sudden become Great Britain for people like Big Eddie Chek. Why is cricket ENGLAND and rugby ENGLAND but not speedwy???? I agree if there were riders from wales or scotland then yes call it team GB.
