krompa
Can't imagine similar situation in any other pro sport. Less than 24 hours to go and no official lineups on speedwaygp.com or fim-live.com
ImpartialOne
"Boyce will confirm his starting five after the practice session on Thursday afternoon and it is rumoured Poole skipper Davey Watt is in contention to race." I imagine other teams are doing the same.
Jacques
With so much uncertainty over certain riders, I'm not surprised ..
racers and royals
As in previous years teams have to declare line-ups no later than 30 minutes after practice ends(for race off and final )

Cricket teams on the morning of a meeting. In fact can't think of m(any) sports where you do know the lineups 24 hours before a meeting. Bad attempt at a dig but. Robyn1972
Why the blank in Team GB's lineup?
severnsider
The blank in the GB team is due to Nicholls no riding tomorrow. It has been suggested that Lewis Bridger will be the replacement. In the rugby union premiership the clubs are required to announce teams in advance after some problems with team line ups a few years ago when some clubs would turn up with substantially weaker teams than had been expected. They piss in the same type of pot as far as I'm concerned..Lots to say about themselves , but not able to deliver., They both have the perfect opportunity to sort it out tomorrow...... I'm looking forward to it

I'm looking forward to it I see them as being the same too. Both want to be there more than anything and I love that. Both have some serious talent. Both fail to apply that talent at times. Both are obnoxious. I like both - there just something about them, they have both annoyed me more than most but there something about them both. I'd love to see 5 riders in the Barker/Bridger attitude riding for team GB - young, keen, talented. Not doubt by this time tomorrow I will have sworn at both like never before! The thing is, I know that if I do sit here shouting and swearing at both tomorrow, I can say nothing that they won't be saying to themselves, neither want to fail. I don't get that impression with a few others. And lets be honest, it's generally the hot heads who throw strops (and helmet!) and smash things when they lose who go on to win things. Not the nice mellow guys - Like Stead and even dare I say it, Harris.

squibby
Is it correct that Emil cannot ride for Russia tomorrow because he did not make himself available for the Kings Lynn meeting, and is therefore barred from competing in either of the other two SWC meetings this year ? speedy den boy
Are GB giving themselves every chance to get to the final? Ie backroom staff, prepararation(when were the riders in Poland?)and most important have we got someone to oversee the bikes and engines.Im thinking Ashley Holloway to tune the engines which were ready to be sent right after the K Lynn meeting i hope? !
