I don't have the Speedway Star (or Mail) for this year and the yearbook has a number of errors and inconsistencies in. 1. BL 1 Reserve Gold Cup. I need the heat details and date for Reading vs Arena Essex. The only info I have is that Reading won 22-14. 2. BL 1 Reserve KO Cup. I need the heat details of the Semi-Final between Belle Vue & Ipswich held on the 4th September (Ipswich won 20-15). I think the yearbook has missed out the bonus points earned. 3. BL 1 Reserve League. The yearbook is inconsistent over whether King's Lynn were awarded a 30-0 win over Reading or whether Reading were awarded the win instead. It's not helped by the Reading v King's Lynn match also not being staged - can anyone confirm that no points were awarded for this one ? 4. BL 1 Reserve League. Heat details needed for the following League matches Cradley Heath v King's Lynn (19-17) on the 18th April King's Lynn v Bradford (22-14) on the 4th May Bradford v Eastbourne (24-11) on the 13th June Bradford v Wolves (20-16) on the 29th September Poole v Swindon (15-20) on the 30th September 5. BL 2 Northern Section. Heat details needed for Berwick v Sheffield (24-11) on the 9th May 6. BL 2 Southern Section. Heat details needed for Peterborough v Stoke (14-23) on the 3rd October (this one I think is a typo and should have Stoke with 22 points with Meredith & Barlow both on 3-7-1, Hoole on 3-8-1 and Walsh on 3-0). May 25 Reading 22 [P Morris 8+1-3, G Sweet 7-3, L Sealey 5+2-3, M Tomlin 2-2] Arena 14 [R Pollard 7-3, R Sandford 4-3, R Ledwith 2+1-3, T Giles 1-3] nb Tomlin had a 2 min exc and was not replaced 3. The Reading v KL Reserve League match simply wasn't ridden due to end of season fixture congestion and was not awarded at all.
