BWitcher
It was just meant as a bit of fun, There'd be something wrong with the world if the Heathens fans weren't booing Sam! However, I am sure, like the vast majority of Wolves fans respect Jan O, they respect Sam too.
shad176
respect him did you see the ammount of fans trying to get an autograph/pic with him ? we all know how good it was of sam to do this and he got a massive applause when on the mike, just seeing those two great world champions walking across the grass to the center green and everyone cheering gave me goose bumps.. a wonderfull night
21st century heathen
Absolutely, there were panto boos of course but both riders were warmly received and roundly applauded. It was a magnificent night when you combine seeing these two ol' boys on track again and the sheer quality of racing that the NL riders displayed. Some of these 'kids' really are fearless. stevebrum
unless im getting my wires crossed ,The only reason it was rammed at Sams farewell was because Penhall was there. You mean nobody came to honour probably the Wolves and one of the World`s best rider of his time?? I grant you having Penhall there was a huge bonus and ensured the Cradley contingent had something to keep then happy. It was just meant as a bit of fun, So was my reply, hence the smiley.
