PhilK
I thought IoW had signed Charlie Saunders?? No sign here and not riding against Kings Lynn tomorrow.
stressed
He was unavailable for the Hackney and King's Lynn fixtures due to prior commitments. This Sunday he is also unavailable at Mildenhall as he is racing grasstrack.

rhidassa
He sounds like a waste of space.. That's harsh. I'm sure IOW were aware of his commitments when they signed him. He was there for the meeting against Dudley on 5th July that was rained off. Two meetings he had previous commitments for and unavailability on a Sunday due to grasstrack. There aren't that many meetings on a Sunday - I know IOW have Mildenhall, Newport and Buxton left but those are the only ones that spring to mind. Is he unavailable every Sunday, or will he be able to make some of those? Anyway, all in all, to call him a waste of space is, quite honestly, rather personal and unnecessary. It is not personal ,but he is wasting a space in the team that could have gone to a more commited rider ,I fail to see how grass track can take precedence over speedway if he is commited to the I.O.W... Its difficult to judge based on speculation. Does grass track take precedence, or was he already booked in to that meeting before he signed? To say he is wasting a space in the team reads slightly different to being a waste of space, btw, Waco

But how many meetings is he likely to do if the grass comes first... Home ones mid week probably..
