Lioness
Not really, if you know a rider is outside you and you rake him out to the fence it's dangerous riding. he didnt take him to the fence imo though - it was barely mid track. Daniel Smith
credit were credit is due, great ride from Barker. Brilliant fella. Get in!!!!!!!
Bagpuss
For me the position of the rider on the inside at the end of his corner ie just before he gets his wheels in line usually speaks volumes. Correct decision IMO. Brilliant from Barker Edited July 14, 2011 by Bagpuss
BWitcher
Not really, if you know a rider is outside you and you rake him out to the fence it's dangerous riding. ................ Barker has just justified his inclusion. No further questions on that one. Agree.. but Roman didn't. Left Jonsson room. For me the position of the rider on the inside at the end of his corner ie just before he gets his wheels in line usually speaks volumes. Correct decision for me. Brilliant from Barker Then you'd be excluding riders every 1st turn.

Derwent
Tac sub in Heat 11 surely, can't afford to waste a Gate 1 on Bridger
Lioness
what is it with these gate positions? Is one team always given so many 2 and 3's in the first part of the meeting? Surely they should be more evenly spread
Bagpuss
Then you'd be excluding riders every 1st turn. Thats where first bend bunching comes in to play. Povhazny was locking up to make sure he didn't run out of track in order to get down the straight. Not saying he was dirty but I think he pushed AJ just a bit too far. Surely they should be more evenly spread Daft isn't it, but its luck of the draw re helmet colours. Russia get 6 Gate 1's by Heat 12 and then none for the rest of the meeting. Daniel Smith
that's Bridger's last ride & international career completed. Stead or King should have been in, they're miles better than that

Good god, its the World Cup. Wait till the Final, you will see far worse than that every other race with no exclusions.

Time to accept that we won't get anywhere with the current generation and pour all of our resources into the next lot like Auty, Cook, Howarth, Garrity, Worralls etc
