Not a bad GP all things considered.

Bit of a shame about the gates. Uneven starts to that extent are bad for any speedway meeting, especially when it's the inside.

Almost ruined the GP for me, but least there was Nicki who livened it up a few times!

Some good, hard riding tonight. Final's first bend and the battle between AJ & Gollob the pick of the bunch for me.

Great to see Nicki and AJ getting back to near their best. Got to be good for the rest of the series

first ever post on here - enjoyed tonights meeting, sat on 1st bend. not as much passing as i've seen before at cardiff and crumpie didn't seem

to have enough pace, but well done to greg on a deserved win. slightly gutted about bjerre though as i had £20 on him at 25 to 1 and if he'd won his semi i think he'd have had first pick!

It's a forum and people have opinions!

I made one comment in one post. If that's "going on" then there's two other posters you should be addressing with the same comments as they have been the ones 'going on' all I've done is address the posts they've been 'going on' with.

Don't go yet George! Don't give up either <personal abuse removed> For what it's worth I was there, unlike these <personal abuse removed>

I reckon it should have been all four back in the final: Nicki pushed across Chris forcing him out, which gave Emil nowhere to go - if anyone should have been excluded it should have been Nicki, just like the first stoppage of Heat 20 where he false-started.

Of course that's my opinion,

agree about the final, would have been good for the ref to have put all four back, but these days it seems compulsory to exclude somebody.

from my position it seemed a classic domino effect with nicki nudging holder who in turn pushed emil out.

That much is true, but what the old dear doesn't realise is we were talking about the re-run. Shame he's retired for his cocoa, thought he might have come over and bought me a beer :drink:

haha i didn't realise either!! how good could the re-run first bend have been if emil was still in it! helped greg out by freeing his run to the first corner.

Mate I'm on the Duty-free Rare Breed at the mo - just about to start me on-air cross to OZ and the flamin' mobile died on me. Do you know how hard it is to recharge a phone when you're overseas? Three quarters of an hour later I'm back on air! I'll get onto the ABC; do me job and get back to the Walkabout. :drink:

Oh, and in answer to your question - several.

If you are going to come steaming in, to what was up to now a civilised debate, at least work out what the debate was about.

Most on here have said that it should have been all 4 back in the first running of the final, if you're agreeing with us, then I guess you are labelling yourself 'a pompous prat'.

The debate with George is over the 2nd running of the final.

Hi BFD hope you're enjoying your tour of duty and the beer isn't too warm! Enjoy your speedway and hopefully not too many rain offs, unless you come to Glasgow! Of course we have sun-offs too!

It wasn't a civilised debate: it was you and your mates trying to shout down someone who had the temerity to disagree with you.

Aye they we're all ganging up on me

Fortunately I'm working on my inbred Scottish paranoia!

Dave,

I have explained this to you before, but still you fail to understand.

It has got nothing to do with 'mates'. You may think you are in a school playground and you have to stick behind your little group regardless of whether they are right or wrong. However, this is an adult discussion forum. I do not know any of the number of posters who agreed with my assessment of the final re-run so they cannot be classed as 'my mates'.

Yet again, you have stuck your oar into a debate without even offering up your own opinion. George has an opinion, he has expressed it, defended it, and I and others have debated it with him. Neither of us have called the other 'pompous prats' or indeed any other names. I respect George for at least having an opinion and expressing it, that is the idea of a forum.

You, on the other hand, once again have offered up absolutely no opinion whatsoever.

Of course that's my opinion, but as you know, if you argue with this lot you're not allowed to have an opinion.

Just because you were there does not mean your opinion is more than those watching at home. I actually have no problem with people having opinions, provided they justify them... thus, allowing for fair and reasoned debate :)

You've got form, mate. I know your MO, and incidentally had it confirmed today by someone associated with the forum. I see your sense-of-umbrage app. is working well.

You can throw all the insults you like, cupcake, it's like water off a Reptile's Scales to me!
