Sandie
Could it be Daugavpils you are most interested in How did you guess - I have been following Aleksandr Łoktajew for some time now!!! Seriously - Rory obviously and Edward Kennett - lets hope they aren't fighting for the last qualifying place together!!!

Pirio Barre
Just a little confused as I’m surprised there was a race off I’d have thought they would have gone with most race wins or a case of who beat who in each heat to choose the qualifiers. With the race off does this mean KK qualifies 3rd and Hans is placed 6th (left waiting for wildcard) or has Hans beaten KK because they both have one race win but Hans beat KK in there match up in heat 7 Also a interesting heat 20 result a touch of Swedish team riding maybe? They needed a 3rd for the rostrum-always have a run-off kk was 3rd hans has qualified as 6 went through from Dagavpils-providing a Swede qualified from one of the three meetings Edited July 2, 2011 by racers and royals

Charley
http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/433/rory-wary He was right to be wary. I thought he and Eddie Kennett were in good form and both had a chance. Shame. Any news on the new Rusky Golubovsky - 3 wins, pretty impressive. I understand that 6 go through from this one and 5 from the others but don't quite get why they decided that? There's 2 Swedes in the Lonigo one (Zorro's injury permitting). Anyone able to explain how they came up with this?
21st century heathen
To say I was in shock reading the updates would be something of an understatement. It's a good job Roo and Ed had the easier round otherwise it would have been truly embarrassing. How would have they even scored a point in the other meetings?!! Who'd have thought James Wright would have been one of our last hopes? (that is actually a question)

In all FIM meetings excluding GP`s they never take 1st 2nds etc into account-always run-offs-i think 6 from this round went through because this semi was semi no 1 and the FIM decided it(persumably before the draw)last year the Russian qualifier that no riders could get visas for also had 1 more qualifier from it. Cheers thanks for clearing that up R and R. Not for the first I find that speedway flip-flops from one rule to another, surely in future the GP Qualifiers should be run along the same lines as the actual GP’s.
