Assuming he is fit, it's surely fairly safe to expect "Mad Max" to be taking this place?

I was wondering why he hadn't been in the qualifiers until I realised one of the semi's was in Daugavpils.

tomas p,a little correction. Nr 8 in Gorican is Jonas DavidssOn not Davidsen.

Sorry, but not my fault. I just copy pasted it from FIM press release. :)

5 from each of the 3 semi-finals.Final is at Vetlanda Sweden on the 20th August.Persumably last rider in final will be decided after the semi`s-if no Swede qualifies then one will be seeded.

It's 6 from semifinal 1 (Daugavpils) and 5+1 from semifinals 2 (Lonigo) and 3 (Gorican). If no Swede qualifies, then it's just 5 from Daugavpils.

When are these meetings scheduled for????

2nd of July I believe (as the sub heading says).

And to answer myself...Apparently Max isn't going to be ready in time, so 17 year old Andrej Lebedev will be taking the wild card position in Daugavpils.

While down in Croatia another 17 year old, Dino Kovacic, takes the wild card place for the Gorican round.

And the wild card in Lonigo goes to Nicolas Covatti, an Argentinean! (he holds an Italian racing license)

The Gorican semi looks oh so tough !!

Gorican and Daugavpils are looking very tough fields...... i'm hoping new blood generally out perform the old GP boys ....... although i'd never begrudge Zorro :)

Gonna be a few tears at the end of the day
