Haza
Well I won't be paying a pound to wonder round it every time I've gone it's so hot in there I can't wait to get out of the place .
BongoBrian
Well I won't be paying a pound to wonder round it every time I've gone it's so hot in there I can't wait to get out of the place. The weather forecast is not as good this year. Anyway, to answer a previous question... If anyone thinks that they don't pay Tesco's for the facilities, staff, lighting, taxes (ie all Tescos Overheads), then they are fooling themselves... they pay it by buying goods. I am sure that the folk putting on this Fair need to pay for the venue etc. £1 seems like a complete bargain to me, you can't even get a Coke in a pub for that! BongoBrian
The simple answer to Haza and SCB is don't go... instead the two of you can meet up, put your two pound coins together and go to the pub, buy a half pint of stout and ask for two straws! Meanwhile the rest of us can go and enjoy the stalls.

emerald tyke
Will be worth attending (albeit with the heat and smell of sweat in there!!) to buy a T Shirt to show our support to Leigh Adams...and they only £10. I think the £1 entry fee is also usually for a charity which sure makes worth while going in....might even be in aid of SRBF.

jaybea39
HERE'S your chance to show your support for seriously injured speedway legend Leigh Adams. Exclusive t-shirts, available in all sizes, have been produced featuring the former Swindon and Australian Grand Prix star and will be available this weekend. They can be purchased from the Enjay Designs stall at the Collectors Fayre which takes place during the day of the British Grand Prix this Saturday at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. And Dudley Heathens Supporters Club, HSSC, will also be selling them on their stall. The event takes place at the Rugby Club adjacent to the stadium. Swindon and Dudley co-promoter Gary Patchett said: "This is a great opportunity to support Leigh who is one of the sport's true gentlemen. "We have kept the price at £10 for all sizes and I'm sure there will be a big response. I'd like to thank Enjay and the Heathens fans for supporting us by selling them at Cardiff."
